good day sir, the government should have deploy a team during night until early morning time, a lot of violators within this time, specially closed vans , tnx sir
That's the thing, you can see so many riders and so many drivers are using the regular lanes, not abusing the bus lane. But the ones who misuse the bus lane will sometimes act like they had no choice. How come everyone else on the road managed it? 🤷
Can we all agree that these bus lane violators can be called idiots? I mean yes, they "save time" by breezing through the bus lane, but they are apprehended and stopped for quite some time and not to mention the hassle going to the LTO office, no? Basically defeats the purpose of them "saving time".
That reminds me of something I've been noticing on EDSA... It seems like a lot of people are starting to remove their plates again 🤷 NCAP isn't even back but I'm already noticing a big difference.
First offense lang ang 5K...Wealthy rich ka na if you commit succeeding violations...Di ba 21 pesos per meal hindi ka na food poor in this administration???
Commending the work of the mmda and saict. Job well done. Hopefully, they get more employees so they can also apprehend during Sundays where violators seem to use the bus lane more frequently or you know just pass the non-apprehension law.
Was on EDSA today from Ayala to UP starting 430. By 630 I was just in Shaw but it got faster after Galleria. Since no more enforcers that time, I like counted at least 40 motorcycles which used the Bus Lane. About 2 SUVS and around 10 ambulance that looks like no emergency really... When the enforcers are away, its open season in EDSA...
I was one of the citizens who suggested several times to increase the penalty for bus lane violators and I'm glad that was implemented. Yet many more are still violating it. Maybe suspending their driver's license for 6 months will make a difference in their attitudes about using the bus lane.
would there be any chance for mmda clearing operation videos? I sort of want to see them again please but if there's no chance, the busway videos are still fine
So the EDSA Carousel buses have delays with Traffic enforcers issuing tickets. The vehicles should just be stopped in the lane adjoining bus lane to keep the bus lane open
Ive been driving for 20 years and not a single ticket was registered under my name. Because it is much easier to follow the rules and regulations than to give myself a headache and wasting time paying for these violations.
Is it possible to put the amount of penalty along with the bus lane signage? Maybe it will somehow deter most of the driver on going inside the bus lane.
If you know your drivers license is confiscated and wearing unauthorized helmet, but still insist using the bus lane, definitely there’s something wrong with their brain.
What bus lane violators do are very insulting thinking the SAICT officers and enforcers will not see them as soon as they leave the exclusive lane. Penalty should be much, much higher than PHP 5,000!

The truth is that many people are confident that they'll be able to leave the bus lane without being apprehended. Or they believe they'll be able to run away, or use influence to avoid being ticketed. So yes, no matter how high you make the penalty, some will still try it, because they genuinely believe they won't be apprehended.
@@GadgetAddict Absolutely! As you well know, even here in the US, just in Cali alone, the state imposes high fines, points on licenses, and very strict enforcement, but there are still many traffic violators.
