    I think you can get sustain by exporting the midi into your daw and dragging out the note. Thanks for the vid. This is a great 303 plugin. By far the best I've used to date.

      It is an exact replica of the 1983 TB303

      Do you mean that you can do the same with the D16 like the roland with the held note in time mode, if you dragging out the note?

      you can also put slide on all notes to get 1 sustained note.

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  Рік тому +1

      What do you mean with the order? Like shifting the pattern left and right? You can right click and map it to a button or even the modwheel, but you can't automate that as far as I know.

      I would just use the keyswitches, or drag the MIDI to ableton.

      Use host note and send MIDI notes to it just like key switches starting from C0.

    Hi,
    I’ve written a track in B minor - Is there a way to create random note sequences of a set length that are forced to stay within that scale? I can’t find a way and it’s driving me up the wall! Cheers!

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  3 місяці тому

      Yes page 31 of the manual explains it, you can click on the notes of the keyboard to decide which notes are affected by the randomizer.

    So you can increase step length from 16 to 32...but how do you then copy the first 16 steps to the blank second 16 steps so you can add variation? I've tried eveything!

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  Рік тому

      That's not possible unfortunately but you can copy the pattern to another pattern and switch between the two with host notes (keyswitches).

    Hallo Melvin, als ik een akkoord opneem in cubase en laat spelen doorheen de arpeggiator, speelt die dat altijd af in hetzelfde patroon. Hoe kan ik van arpeggiator patroon veranderen? Dus meerdere patronen in 1 track gebruiken zoals mogelijk is met de sequencer? Alvast bedankt en super goede uitleg trouwens!

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  Рік тому

      Jammergenoeg werkt de host mode niet met Arpeggiator. De enige manier is om de MIDI te exporteren per patroon en dit in Cubase zelf te schakelen.

Mischien ken je even luisteren een paar minuten Ik ken geen link hier toegeven ,daarom verzoek ik je hier naa te zoeken ...Black Attack - Good Life ( Official Video ) .....Zoals ik een paar Sounds gehoort heb bij jou,denk ik well.Maar ik vraag liever eerst .Bedankt eerst maar voor je antwoort

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  11 місяців тому

      Dat mag zeker 😀 Het zou goed een 303 kunnen zijn inderdaad, maar het heeft ook wel een karakter wat goed uit een DX7 kan komen of vergelijkbare FM synth. Dit soort klanken kun je met vrijwel alle synths wel maken, gewoon een korte envelope met sustain op nul, korte decay en een filter met een beetje resonantie.

    Is it possible to play the patterns in a chain in the live mode?
    Or do I have to use the notes in ableton with the host note mode to create a chain?
    By the way, the transpose feature is very useful if you want to play the same pattern with different pitches.
    You only have to paste the pattern to the other patterns and transpose it to the note you like to have it.

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  Рік тому

      I don't think there's a chaining feature. So you'd have to program in some MIDI notes. And yeah the transpose feature is really useful, also for jamming :)

    have you tried this / compared it to hardware options such as the tb-03?

    • @optoproductions
      @optoproductions  Рік тому +1

      I've only got the td3mo and they both have different functions so kinda difficult to compare but they both sound great. The power of Phoscyon is it's built in distortion which shapes the sound dramatically.

    (not serious) Dutch must be the worst language to learn a foreign language - except for German maybe :
    Their French pronunciation is worse then mine (which says a lot)
    But you'd expect that their English - coming from the same language group - would be better ...
    I started noticing this because I was a bit late learning more then a few of the world's most famous DJ's have the Dutch nationality - artist names can be deceiving - but when taking part in an inverview or show, there was definitely something 'wrong' with their English. Now I have like an immunological reaction : after a few words - it HITS me
    (more serious) GOOD video - not too long, but touching all important areas !!
    👌👌👌
