I was originally seeking the echo which was not available and then discovered the Elite which looks like a far better bike and even more sleek/refined in appearance which suits my little apt. gym better. I will let you know how I wind up liking it.
I ordered it by calling The Treadmill Factory here in Toronto Canada. I have mini van so I went there same day in 15 minutes they gave me the bike if I choose them to deliver it would take 2 to 3 weeks for me to get it. Assembly was easy I put it together by my self in an hour. I don’t have any instructions how to do maintenance on it how to oil it and what oil to use. I will call Treadmill factory to get the information but I am pretty sure I don’t need to do any maintenance any time soon.
Well in the email I had directly with assault fitness very little maintenance is needed and they did send me a few PDF’s on it but yea very easy to set up , use and maintain . Glad you are Bally with it
My Assault Bike Elite broke after 2 years. I have been trying to get their support to help me fix it for almost a year now. It took me almost 9 months to get all the parts i needed and now the crank sprocket will not budge.

Great review. I’m between this Elite and the C2 BikeErg. I get that both serve primarily “different purposes” or I should say have advantages/disadvantages for certain purposes but If you could only have one, which one would you choose between these two?
Tough question, Both can be used for long and short distances, air bike is better for sprints and bike more comfortable with longer ranges due to you being able to change the resistance. For me mostly likely the air bike because i prefer shorter more intense cardio workouts, i get a little bored just sat on any for a long time so would pick the air bike because it gets the job done

Can you address the difference in the handlebars between the Elite and the Echo bike? Are the Elite handles bars adjustable? If so how?Can you adjust the angle? Is the seat comfortable? Some reviews say it’s slippery, what do you think?
Hi there, I’ve had to do very little maintenance on it. I’ve tightened things up and oiled it once and still feels just as good. It’s only me using it so use isn’t very high so less maintenance needed. Coming up to a year since I had it so will be doing a 1 year review soon

Do you get any left to right wobble with the fan? I just found the elite for a steal on marketplace and there is a slight wobble to the fan and I can’t figure out how to get to the front hub to tighten it. Of course it didn’t come with any paperwork or manual. I’m new to air bikes and didn’t know if this was normal for chain drive air bikes.
Hey buddy sorry to hear that you are having issues and sadly I can’t help with that. I’ve had no issues with wobbly and even after a maintenance check I have not had any issue but my was brand new so would be surprised. I do however had the Manual and chain tightening pdf which they might be useful for you in working out the issue or being able to maintain it. just using the handles works your upper body and pushing and puling muscles. Just using the upper body to move it is hard work and you will get a pump from it
Thanks so much for this video. I’m tempted to sell my Echo and buy the Assault elite. The thick 90° angled handles on the echo just kill my wrists and hands. Would it be possible to change out the seat on the assault for a regular bicycle seat? You can on the Echo so I’m thinking you probably can on the elite as well.

I've used every bike - schwinn ad6 & ad7, echo, ab classic. Own a bikeerg. Bought the AB Elite for the same reasons provided in the video - feels like a bike. My only gripe is the console (can't press and hold, so setting intervals above a few minutes is annoying). If you're patient, you can get it for $999. You can switch out the seat, btw.
@@LeeDowningKeat i have ridden the AB classic at the gym since buying the elite. Felt terrible compared to the elite. I don't regret the decision one bit.
The pro is meant to be the middle ground between the two. I wouldn’t get the classic and an extra £100-150 I think extra is worth it. But if you got the money get the elite. Just finished a workout on it . Wow
The elite is $400 more than the pro. I actually ordered the pro and it should be here tomorrow I'll let you know what it's like. Was it hard to build though? I haven't seen anything about that.
I got mine while it was on sale so it was only £100 more plus the pro wasn’t in stock . I’m in uk so might be a little different. Yes buddy let me know how you get on and what you think. It comes with instructions which are easy to follow
Silly question can the elite hold a cell phone or water bottle like the the rouge? My husband and I are looking to purchase an air bike for our new home and it’s between the two. Thank you 😊
Hi there, thanks for watching and reaching out. So far there is no water bottle holder, I know the rogue has one but that is extra money if I remember rightly. Most will use the bike for sprints or intervals so I haven't felt that to be an issue but would maybe if doing long continuous runs. There is a lip in the display that is used to put your phone on which I use regular, plus it has Bluetooth and heart rate to attach your phone too as well. I have it over 6 months now and still havent had to do anything with it and rides as well as it does from day one. If you are in the uk they are still £999 from wolverson which is around the same maybe less that the rogue once you factor in shipping and customs

Ah ok you maybe able to get it cheaper as assault are an American company and I bought mine through a uk partner. Yes after using both can’t recommend the elite more. Massive fan of it and just love how great it is for cardio. Will you use for CrossFit workouts or just general cardio workouts ?
So they had to go back to the drawing board to compete with the Echo Bike platform. Either one is nice but I guess that’s what happens when you are on top

My bike was £999 and the rogue for me with shipping and customs is over £1000 . Mine was on sale with £250 off. If price is the only concern the classic is cheaper and maybe even the pro. If you want the best that money can buy then the elite wins hands 🙌 down
Well it’s a better deal if you live in the uk. If your main things is price then sure the echo bike wins but if you are after the BETTER bike then the echo wins. Plus I’d happily pay extra for a product that has up to 3-4 years longer warranty and is built for commercial use. It’s like anything , you get what you pay for
@@LeeDowningKeat thanks! Given how well the chain lasts on a concept 2 rower (basically forever if regularly lightly oiled) then I suspect the chain on this elite bike should have similar longevity. It’s on my list.
Yes I think what makes it last so long as well is the whole chain is covered and keep safe from dirt, sweat and dust and other things so should improve the longevity.
Hahah I didn’t say I could break one, I spoke to a company that had a belt fed system and asked about maintenance and they said they the belt can Over time, can go loose, keep slipping or even fray and at that point “ you “ can’t fix it , you need a specialist to fix it

No it has a chain. If a chain breaks it’s easy to fix and get a new one. With the belt fed ones like the echo and bulldog ones here in uk you need to get a specialist to fix. Over time they do get loose and then it won’t work as well and will keep skipping . I went for this for one of many that “if “ someone went wrong I could fix it. I wouldn’t recommend going for a cheap one as with the originally assault classic it kept having problems and when you are doing hiit workouts and really getting the watts in, you want something that can handle that power . I liked this due to commercial build and longer warranty. Don’t get me wrong they are both great bikes. In the uk the price atm is the same for both but can understand it maybe cheaper for the rogue in USA. Both great just preference as well. I find I prefer the chain fed over belt. Destroys my legs more for some reason but either one you will get a good workout in. Whichever you go for let me know and when it arrives your thoughts on it. Be great to know 👍

What sold me more was the warranty. I even emailed them and asked about maintenance and they said it’s built for heavy use and light tlc is needed so that’s what sold me. Seriously dude your legs will be burning . I use it most days and it’s a killer. Been using it with kb and sandbags and it’s brutal but really fun. I may upload some workouts with it . Plus it looks cool
If your in the uk it’s costs about 1k to get it and that might go up now we are out of the eu, customs and delivery . I think the extra money is worth the extra warranty you get with the elite. You get what you pay for ?

Yes i put it together on my own and it was simple. The main body all comes together . You just put the feet , arms, peddles and monitor on
