- In this video you'll learn how to quickly reset the 'Time for service' light in any 2006 to 2009 Saab 9-5 so that it stops coming back every time you turn on the car. Video was filmed on a 2007 9-5.
Me RESPECT to You !
Not a bullshiting talking and wasting time, just straight forward helpful explanation.
Actually this it is the most easiest clearing of the service light in any car.
Thank You Sir !
Hey thanks, I appreciate that! I try to be direct so I'm glad it's working.
Big thanks from Sweden 🇸🇪 Just renovated the my 9-5 Aero engine from 2006 , so i saved money thanks to this video ☀️🏆☀️
Thank you from Poland! That was short and definitive video - you've just showed and solved the problem. ;)
At last! There were many guides of how to do that and none of those worked - I still was struggling to get rid of this for a span of 10yrs. Many thanks for this 🙏
Worked for me nov 2023. Thanks !
Very nice. Just the tutorial I was looking for. Quick and easy to do too.
Agree! No talking and time wasting, just helpful.
Thank you from Germany.
Perfekt.
Thx!! I just recently purchased an '08 9-5 Aero sedan w/auto w/94k mi and service will be due in about 1k mi.
My bride of 33yrs said apart from the front it looks like a Buick and my guy at O'Reilly's said "nice BMW" before he noticed it is a SAAB. Talk about hurting a guy!
Glad this was useful! And ouch! Welcome to Saab ownership. Those who know, know ;)
Thanks so much, great video.... And your method worked ( can be a rare thing on UA-cam). Thanks again!!!
Happy to have helped!
thank you
all thumbs up !
simple and right on spot
God bless you !
Was trying to do it yesterday with no luck. Thanks for vid. It worked.
Very helpful. Thank you for doing this. Ironically I came across this and my light came on today
Sometimes these cars have a way of knowing! I'm glad this was useful for you.
Awesome, smooth and simple!
Thank you! By the way I don't think thr brake hold is necessary any more. At least I forgot to do it and it still cleared by doing all of the other steps. Either way thanks again!
Same with my old 9-3 from year 2000 - just a long press of the Clear button did the trick.
Many Thanks!
Perfect. Works on uk models.
Thanks
Thank you!!
You are genius ❤️
Thanks, its real help 👍
Thanks very good
Thanks man. Really clear and easy. Subscribed
Thanks.. it worked!
Thanks for making this!!
Been bugging me for months! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
If it was bugging you for months then, even if at the start of that period you'd just had it serviced, then by the end it was probably due for another one 🙂
Thank you !!!!
Thanks! Saved me £20 🙌🏻🥳
Thanks, this worked for me!
Hell yea thanks for your video’s. Very helpful
Amazing 🤩
Worked. Thanks.
Thanks!
Hi! I am wondering if i can replace my 2005 saab 9-5 speedometer for the one you have. is it possible?
I don't believe 2006 and newer instrument clusters are compatible with 2005 and earlier.
Note that if you do swap your cluster for another, it will need to be programmed to the car with a Tech2 for the car to function.
👍
Nice video, how do you fix the check oil showing on the dashboard?
Are you getting a message that says 'Check Oil Level' or the oil light icon on your dash?
The oil light is a sign of more serious issues, but you can clear a check oil level or low oil level light by adding a bit of oil.
Any one here knows how to solve the issue of fast blinking indicators with LED bulbs? Thank you
Guess not for a 9.5 vector tidd 2007 ..EU model. Did not work
Hmm... I apologize, I thought it was the same! Were you able to figure it out? Remember not to let off of the brake pedal, I've made that mistake a few times.
Mine goeas aeay by itself affer a change. Why doesn't yours?
Thanks
Thanks !!!
Thank you!
