Thanks for the helpful video, about to try and tackle this on my 2011 Acadia. So I can do it all from underneath, no need to pop off that interior panel in the back?
@ykmalachi Yeah I just plan on changing that, I was just a lil confused because you mentioned having to clean up the mess made inside with brake cleaner. Anyways thank you for the reply
Your compressor has some severe damage to it from the looks of the oriface tube. The black dust and metal shavings typically show amount of damage to the compressor. But helpful video otherwise. Thanks
I dont make videos for kids. I am not growing my channel. I just make videos that there was not someone doing already and put up for free. I also dont monitize my videos. No money for me.
Man you helped fix my 2010 traverse. Much appreciation to you and the cussing is part of any car work lol. Once again thanks
Hilo bro
Did acadia 2010 have orfice tube forfront?
Thank you
Did it fix the problem with no ac in rear? Or did you have to do more work like replace the compressor?
Made it way better. Not as absolute cold as front AC but well under 60°
This videos actually funny 😂😂 specially on 1.5 speed

I think you can. If you are only changing the expansion valve.

Did you have to have it recharged after replacing those parts and some refrigerant spilling out?
Of course.
Any issues with servicing the system? I just had this happen on my 2015 acadia. About to do the same stuff
Not really. It made it better but they really need an AC compressor
Hopefully I don't need a compressor but we will see!
Have you done a frount one yet?
Can you make a video on how you tested the actuator? Or do you have any tips?
Activate the actuator at the dash and listen to the movement. Or remove the actuator and watch the movement.
@@ykmalachi bet I appreciate the response
Can you replace just the filter or do you have to replace the expansion valve as well? The other clown i watched, lol, just replaced the filter.
Part is not that expensive
Where does the orfice tube filter go for the rear
I really don't remember. Did the job and moved on.

Seemed good but so much cussing I didn't feel comfortable listening to it around my kids. If you want more viewers you might clean up the speech a bit
