Yellowfin Tuna on the Producer October 24th-25th 2023

Please Excuse the Pirate Language - Headed out on an Overnight for what may be the last party boat trip of the season for Me. My Brother Toby , Jr. , Chris and Lee joined me on the trip and we definitley had to work for it . Captain Frank took us out west of the 43 to the current Tuna grounds .The bait selection was extremly small and our morning bite was very light with only a 4 Dorado and a few Yellowfin . We chased schools , Birds , Kelps and Boils allday . Right when it was looking like a bummer and on our way home we spotted a few dolphins chasing something . Frank chased them down and metered the area and found the meat . Heavy chumming and the fishing progressed from there . We totaled 33 Yellowfin Tuna and 4 Dorado . The Tuna were in the 30lb class which gave for a great fight . I was heading for a skunk when Cook Dave handed me off 1 of his 3 hook ups . Huge Thanks Dave . Dave also handed 1 off to fishing buddy Lee . Out of our group Jr. was left with the skunk this trip . We had a great time and we fished hard.
