acs has some cool servers. people there mainly drift on klutch kickers in gravy garage cars, they also off ai bots you can practice tandems with without worrying about upsetting real players

Bro nohesi IS not free because dlc IS not free but you can play no dlc but they are so Boeing IS there anything what you need to download car but dont need dlc
If your talking about car feeling heavy, its because the no hesi one are simcade, almost arcade and dosen't convey a realistic car physic with to much grip. The mod are free but requiere DLC that can be find cheap.

You do need the dlc’s but some servers have no dlc maps that just aren’t good

I know there are proximity servers but I've never join one, you can youtube assetto proximity chat and you can see people playing it
Mkelite makes high hp servers with proximity chat they also usually have channels in their discord
