Thanks for sharing. It does seem odd that all those caps would be bad, including the newer ones.Is there any ariflow over that board? Hopefully your new caps are 105C caps. I do that radial cap replacement trick quite a bit, because I have the radials in stock and they are usually MUCH cheaper. I just put heat shrink or spaghetti tubing on the leads. Certainly the added lead inductance will have no effect in these power supply circuits.

Little air flow but yes it is strange. I'm not completely sure it is fixed yet so I may get a chance to fix those leads.

I found this third video very interesting and I hope it will be useful for the repair of my generator. I ask you if there will be a fourth part. Tiringrazio and I salute you,
    Basilio

Yes - I'll put it back together and then see if I can get it working and the voltages correct from the power supply

Yep. I meant to put a sub title in about it but clearly I forgot. At least it shows the current limiters work.....

That stood out to me as well. Glad it did not hurt anything. I managed to do to that with about a 350V rail and burned up a meter IC on a Lambda supply (video on my channel). Haven't finished this vid yet, but immediately checked the comments when I saw the sparks.
