Ödemiş Gölcük Lake | Places to Visit in Izmir | Turkey Travel Guide

This Gölcük Lake, located in Bozdağlar surrounding Ödemiş, is an alluvial set lake. The lake is in the middle of the plateau surrounded by pine forests. Gölcük Lake is a nature paradise where you can take your book and coffee and spend time in peace, enjoy and camp. Gölcük Lake, surrounded by chestnut and walnut trees, is a favorite of many art lovers, from painters to photographers.
The depth of the lake, which is approximately 1100 m above sea level, is 5 m. It has a circumference of 6850 m and a depth of 8 m. I can say that even in hot weather, it has a cool weather due to the altitude. There are places by the lake where you can meet your needs such as restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and mosques.
