How I hate that they ruin my favorite anime, yes I know it's for children but man, they don't respect the originality of the anime, besides if the original One Piece anime is not for children then why delete what they have already done, they can only put a warning and that's it. What things

I believe I can somewhat clear up why 4Kids dubbed One Piece.
Firstly, according to some anonymous former employees, 4Kids had no intentions on dubbing the show in the first place. They did very minimal research, only enough to find out that it was a show about pirates and it was a hit in Japan. They originally passed on it because at the time Disney basically had the family friendly pirate entertainment market cornered with Pirates of the Caribbean, so they felt their dub of One Piece wouldn’t take off.
Secondly, and this is the main reason why they ultimately dubbed it anyway, 4Kids were concerned that younger girls weren’t really watching their dubs, so they started looking for shows in Japan to appeal to them. They found one by Toei called Magical DoReMi and, even though it wasn’t a smash hit in Japan, they decided to go with that and see if they could pull a Pokémon and make it a hit in the west. Well, Toei was in a bidding war on One Piece with other dubbing companies, most notably FUNimation. They were about to give them the license when they started doing research on 4Kids and found out that Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh were insanely popular in the west thanks to them. So, Toei came up with the bright idea to sell DoReMi and One Piece in a package deal.
Lastly, to make a long story short, 4Kids began work on DoReMi and put One Piece aside for a bit. Finally when DRM started airing, they had a few of their employees sit and screen OP. They watched the first episode and felt the whole show was only going to require minor edits on the same level of Pokémon and YGO, but once they started watching further they realized they messed up. But, 4Kids couldn’t back out. They were under a contract with Toei so they had to do what they had to do. Ultimately by the time OP got to Post Alabasta (around season 3 or so) their contract was up and they decided not to renew it, so Toei gave the license to FUNi.

Probably because the navy and the marines are separate branches of the military in most western countries, including the USA. Though during the age of piracy, they were interchangeable terms for the same branch of the naval military. It was probably in order to prevent kids from being confused.
