Flying from Brussels to Tokyo via SG is not competitive against existing direct flight alternative. It seems you expect people to pay more for the discomfort of doing one or two connections just based on pre-2020 reputation.
Well, you have a choice which airline to fly, don't you? Quit complaining. No one is begging you to fly to Tokyo via SG.

Can't wait for Singapore airlines to resume Madrid (since it’s a popular city and Barcelona isn’t enough), Vienna (A city that is connected to the fellow Star Alliance carrier) and Stockholm (since it was served until the pandemic, and was popular), and add Oslo.
Next time make one to Miami International Airport(MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL), In December 2023 my parents were looking for flights to there but there were not any so we had to Take British Airways with a Stop over at London Heathrow so please make one to Miami or Fort Lauderdale so it is easier to visit my relatives.

Biggest liar...was assured by 2 different chat agents during 2 different chat sessions that the flight i am taking is eligible for miles accrual but after following up with numerous email, SQ has decided not to credit the miles. No explanation given and couldn't tell why have I been lied to

Fair warning: Unlike EU airlines who follow EU passenger rights laws Singapore Airlines will have no issues screwing without compensation in case of delays.

I’ve recently deleted my mails so I don’t have the actual e-mail address, but it was through the contact forms in the app. I then filed a complaint through the website. This was back in august. I missed a connecting flight due to a delay from singapore airlines resulting in a 12 hour delay with no compensation. Not much to do about it though. The fact is that EU airlines have to follow EU rules for passenger protection laws while SIA only has to when departing from an EU airport. I’ve been burned once and will be choosing EU airlines from now on.

@@singaporeair I don’t have the reference number since I deleted my email history and i’ve put the case behind me. I received no advice, but my claim for compensation was declined. This was legally correct because unlike EU airlines, SIA doesn’t have to follow EU261 unless certain conditions are met.

Whatever you do don’t fly cattle class at night with them. Just completed a 25 hour flight from London to Christchurch New Zealand with them . Their service that gave them the edge has disappeared, such as amenity kits and hot damp towels when you boarded. The cabin crew are great but seem too busy to attend to any but the most immediate needs. Seating is so cramped, exacerbated by reclining chairs (when they recline) it makes getting across to the isle a marathon, having to step over the detritus on the floor. The sooner airlines, if they are going to bunch the seating up in cattle class, remove reclining functionality the better. It might stop some of the aggression. This I guess, is not limited to SA. Their A380s are a little better, but their aircraft used on subsidiary routes are bloody awful. Sorry Singapore Airlines, I was once a staunch SA supporter now you’re just another cattle class purveyor. You’ve dropped the 🏈.

@@singaporeair I replied to Singapore Airlines 4 days ago with my KrisFlyer number so they can email me personally. I invited them to email me. My KrisFlyer details include an email address so they had the opportunity to contact me personally but that post has been removed. A KrisFlyer number is hardly a revelation of personal details. Singapore Air you have had the opportunity to have personal dialogue with me but it appears you choose not to. You would rather have me waste my time filling out a prescripted form which you, no doubt, will choose to ignore. Again I urge those of you who are thinking of flying Singapore Air based on their well earned past reputation to reconsider your choice of carrier. They are not the Singapore of old and you could be setting yourself up for disappointment. Of late I have been hearing from others Singapore Air isn’t what it used to be.

I'm curious if anyone has helped at any point. Even after 20+ calls the staff seem to get more useless, less willing to help, seem to willfully misunderstand our complaints and requests. Worst airline EVER!?
