Hello, Courtney! I just started my Loc journey with the Comb Coils. It's been a little over a month and I had my first wash and retwist yesterday. I have the puffy bulbs, which is not what I want. I also suffer with scalp issues, Seborrheic Dermatitis, a very flaky scalp. Can you make some suggestions on what to wash my hair with and on my next wash and retwist what can be done to get rid of the buds? I'd be most appreciative. Thank you.
Very nice work. Have you ever installed locs on a client with alopecia? If so, do you have a video? When i was a little girl (around 12ish), i wore ponytails that were too tight. So by the time i was in highschool, i had a bald spot one side near my ear and very this hair on the other side near the other ear. Every since then (im 50 now)I've been VERY careful about applying too much tension to my scalp.
Great video. I'm looking to transition from interlocking micros to palm rolling. I've be allowing my hair to grow out for almost 6 weeks now. Now debating 🤔 whether I want to do it myself or allow someone to do it for me. I really like that style. I will be 2 years locked in June and excited about the transition.
This was so fun to watch! I have a retwist appt. this week and my favorite part is the shampoo and conditioner massage. Question: I used to be concern that my loctician was not palm rolling all the way down the ends of my hair. I noticed that you do not do that either. So, why don't locticians roll all the way down? Is it bad for the hair? Your channel has been so helpful for me. This month marks 7 months loc'd for me. 🎉
@@CourtneyGrayton I must have lost my memory for a second. I have watched it. No idea how I forgot because that's where I learned the new phase is called ugly by some people.
Can the ‘Believe It’s Butta’ be used between styles for softness/hydration for locs? Or is it best used for post-wash/pre-styling methods? Loving the videos and loc content!

Thanks! Some clients request us not to maintain the ends so they keep the curly ends
Shoutout to 7 months 🥳

What product do you use to retwist
I really like the look of her locs. You said these started as coils, can you explain the difference between these and other types of starters?
Sure! Check out this video:

Great job!!! How many locs does she have? What’s her hair texture? Tks🫶🏼
@@CelebrityNewsOne thank you! She’s like 3b/3c and I’m not sure. I don’t think we’ve counted them yet. If I had to guess tho, maybe 80

Yes! I use it occasionally to seal in moisture when I mist my locs. A little goes a longggg way
