Really helpful. I recently designed my first sigil, but I did use symbols and decorative flourishes because for a symbol of self love, it works. The part about logos and branding being sigils really gives a depth of meaning I find particularly useful having studied graphic art for a couple of years. For some reason, despite my background, sigils have felt elusive. Now I get it in a way that I can make sense. I will probably continue to use symbols and swirls and such because that’s how my brain works. It has to be pretty.
