I like selling ties, but I don't pick up a ton since many don't live up to what I am looking for. But they are cheap, easy to list and easy to ship so I don't mind if it's not huge money. The last four I sold went for $11, $15, $20 and $25 consecutively. I do not look for specific brands. I look for unique patterns/styles - something that really stands out. There are definitely a lot of boring ties on the rack! If it's something I think I can come up with some good keywords for to attract a buyer who will pay what I'm charging, I generally go for it.
Quilters use ties for a particular pattern or two. So a lotting up some in complimenting colors might be something to think about. I used to make ties into a game for our church festival. I'd stuff the bottom with beans, sew it up and use them as tosses in hula hoops. The kids loved it. The grown ups would sneak a throw or two in as well 😅
I'm not a Blenko expert by any means but I don't think that base is Blenko. Two things lead me to believe that - (1) the smooth pontil. Blenko doesn't polish their pontils. And (2) the cut and polished top. Blenko doesn't do that either. On all the Blenko I've seen the top edge is rounded and not cut and polished flat. But it's still a nice vase and I probably would have gotten it as well for that price!
I have sold several of my used puzzles. I put them together and take a photo before I sell them. That way, the buyer knows all the pieces are present. You probably don't have time to do that, but I love puzzles, and my selling is just a hobby, I don't have to turn things over quickly.
That's a great idea. Dalton and I tried it once because we do like puzzles but 2 pieces were missing so after days of putting together it was frustrating
I haven't sold anything in a week. I don't get it. I was selling like crazy. I've lowered all my prices. I've been listing every day. I'm getting frustrated 😞
I’ve had the same issue- then, something with the algorithm will “ kick in” and suddenly I’m seeing sales, people are watching my items, etc… only to have it die out again in approximately one week, even though I continue listing, making offers on watched items, lowering prices etc. I’m kind of at my wit’s end as well!
I found that when I share my listing to my Pinterest or FB page I made for reselling it helps boost my sells. I share a bunch at once one item ar a time but prob can share all at once on the seller hub ♥️
That buccaneer hat had the very first logo on it now.. I think it’s really different now. I think they did away with that first one because the pirate looked kind of feminine lol
On the subject of crocheted blankets, I went to my first hoarder sale awhile back…no electricity in the house and it was a dark and stormy day…I managed to find one of the most beautiful granny square afghans I’ve seen, and so soft. Got it home, where I could see, and three of the squares are loose and several more headed in that directions…trying to decide it I should just write it off as a loss,or list with flaws. I paid $25 for a bag of Iinens, and have already made money back plus a bit more.Thoughts anyone?
I just went to all 4 stores yesterday but it was packed and the stores were really emptied, what time where you at this store? It looks so low traffic 😊
I really liked the bucket hat with butterflies at 7:00. Not nearly as much hard goods there. You did well.
Yes it was pretty and thank you I appreciate it.

That clear thing plastic thing looks like an organizer for qtips, cotton balls, etc.
Oh yes maybe!!
Hi! Great buys! Tfs
Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much I appreciate the insight!
We love your buying control. Sometimes it works, sometimes not!! 😂
So true!
I have those small plastic drawers that I put jewelry in.
I buy the wooden liberty puzzles unsealed.
Yes i love those for jewelry myself!!
I think I saw Dorothy Thorpe punch glasses and the bowl is at my goodwill in Vero Beach ! God I'm eating my heart out 😮😢
Oh nice!!

Gooood Morning 😀
Good morning!
Some Fenton bells sell. I’ve bought them and sold them.
Thanks for the tip
Especially hand-painted UG
Hi...do you find it best to bundle your hats or sell popular ones separately?
I sell most hats individually

Click watch on all your own listings to fool eBay into thinking people are interested in your items.

@tracysharif9890 me as well. I'm getting so frustrated because nothing I'm doing seems to be working.
You can do it! Just keep listing and pushing and the sales will come

Actually, counting the pieces isn’t even infallible. Sometime a 500 piece puzzle might have 504, etc.
Oh wow that's good to know!!
Those Alyson Rey pj's look so comfy and a nice worn, vintage look to them. My favorite for the day! Thanks for sharing. 😉👍❤
Glad you like them!

Ohhhhhh that would make sense

Someone may buy the Afghan to use to make another one. You could also donate it to a shelter. I'm sure a homeless person would love it.
It could easily be fixed. Just crochet the squares back together.
I would still sell since you have it and just notate the flaws
❤❤❤
Love your videos. Just wondering, I know you pick up alot of throw pillows. Do you clean them? If so, how and what do you use?
We just wash them in the washer

Did you start a new channel instead of the Nurse Flipper?
This channel is about two years old. All my shopping videos go here and what sold and research goes on the nurse flipper
