Wow ..really amazing places. Seeing this I can just imagine how people might have been living there. You have also gave a beautiful commentary in the culture of those people lived there. Thank you so much. Just subbed to see more of your vlogs.
My favourite one...I was there last year and I was speechless is Petra in Jordan! You are always doing amazing job guys! So informative video and awesome views!!! Great job again 👏
Oh man, Petra looks unreal. We need to go there for sure. Thank you Costa, as are you! We appreciate you man, and really love your last video - the message is sticking in my head.
This is Paul in Oaxaca. I was looking for this week's video and I ran across this older one of Monte Albán. Since 1970 I've been to Monte Alban seven times. It is a wonderful, spiritual place. It's best to go in the wet season because it's not so brown. Everything is green. I believe to understand Oaxaca, one must go and spend a morning in Monte Albán. Your video was short, but you still did a good job. Other important sites around Oaxaca are Yagul & San Jose el Mogote. The latter one dates back before Monte Albán. It is said that these are the people that built Monte Albán. Also, in 1200 BCE, San Jose el Mogote may have been the first sedintary agricultural settlement in the area. It's not an impressive site, but a very important one.
Swift death!!!! I think those steps might have killed me! What an interesting and fun video! Thank you for showing us this beautiful historic place in Mexico. We really feel Ike we are there with you. You guys make history fun!
They were steep for sure! Thank you! History was never really exciting to me until we started traveling. That’s when I really started to appreciate it. I love going places now and learning about these fun facts - it help paint a better picture of the places we are! Thank for your comment.

Wow those were som beautiful views there. I'd love to visit in the near future. We did some of the other ruins in Mexico but didn't make it to this one. That looks like a great vantage point to see if anyone was coming to attack. I'd love to learn more about this, so thanks for sharing!

There are a lot of similares between this site and Sechin bajo in peru . The pyramidic structures are similar but the cita layout is different. The pictures of dancers or dismembered humans are almost identical , the way they were carved onto individual stones and appear to have been brought from somewhere else and set into the walls exactly like Sechin Bajo. The style of art is again, very similar but not exactly the same.
There’s no mystery 😅 we the Zapotec tribe still exist. We live in the mountains now. Where the Spanish did find us, but were defeated multiple times by the Zapotec.
