It seems like Youm warmed up to Rimuru quickly, but there was actually a lot of time that passed. In the Slime Diaries, they show more of how Youm and his gang hung out in Tempest and personally saw how none of the monsters are evil, and that's why he decided to accept Rimuru as a master. So for the main show it looks like he did it in a day, but he didn't. There's another instance where this happens in season 2 and you'll think "Oh that progressed fast, why are they so close?" but it happened over the span of months. They rushed some stuff for the sake of the show.
6:27 Rest assured, this is Millim holding back 😅
Milim dropping a nuke would still be considered her holding back
Theres 10 demon lords. They all have their own subordinates. Frey,Millim,Carrion, and Clayman are all demon lords. The clowns all work with Clayman, the beast people work for Carrion. They all hold interest in the forest so they're in direct competition.
This is a very deep cast of characters in this series. I thought Rimuru Tempest was just going to be a chief of village. But his becoming a Commander-in-chief instead 😅
19:25 wow, Sam's already got the pronunciation down. I've seen a lot of people mess that up if they weren't already familiar. But yeah, Charybdis isn't a god, but she is a greek monster, so right mythology.
Edit: lol, and y'all looked it up a minute later
Laplace is the clown who urged Gabiru into fighting the Orc Lord.
Phobio is the guy who punched Rigur. A member of the Beastketeers, basically a combination of "Beast" (cause they are from the Beast Kingdom, Eurazania) and "Musketeers". The Beastketeers are the most powerful subordinates of The Beast King, Demon Lord Carion.
Just for help with the name
Clayman subordinate is clown people 🤡 literally - laplace, tear, footman
Carrion subordinate is beastlike human - you only know phobio one of three beasketeer atm
Youm is mercenary from falmuth
Fuze is Guildmaster from Bulmund
Other characters yall can try absorbing one by one for time being 😂😅 its will be easier as episode goes on
@@wkadalie No reason to post this nobody cares about what you know stop spoiling reactors.
@@wkadalie Seriously, you've posted two character related spoilers on just this video. Shut up.
@@phoenixe17 I'm literally not even talking to you....I was commenting to the guy who was talking about spoilers or at least watched enough to know what was going on.... And probably most have already watched to the end of season 2 already. These girls are really behind. Also I put on a spoiler warning. Maybe learn to read.
@@wkadalie Not to mention you need some damn line skips for a spoiler comment to mean anything if you can just read it right there without making the comment expand.
Spolier:
See....
@@phoenixe17 Okay I see you're point, I will fall on my sword now.
Rewatching this I'm shocked at how many names/etc they just throw at you in the last 3rd of this ep lmao. But you guys basically got everything sorted at the end 👍! Milim waiting to be praised + her blank staring while eating in the meeting 😂 too funny!
I was shouting at the screen when they said Phobio was working for Clayman. But they did end up correcting themselves.
“This is a happy show where people forgive”
Hmm, yes, I can see why you’d say that…
Edit:
Side note: since it’s not mentioned, the “weapon” Rimuru makes for Milim is a pair of clawed gauntlets that reduce her attack by… I forgot… a lot. IIRC its so she doesn’t hurt his people accidentally, reducing her damage output to something people won’t get one-shotted by.
"This is a happy show were people forgive" Yeah, we see about that
14:55 It's Dio from Jojo, as well as Zeke from Attack on Titan
I know you guys are really trying hard to remember everyone's names in Tensura, but I feel like you might have accidentally memorized a few names incorrectly. Like Gelmond for Gelmud and Miliam for Milim.
I think you should definitely keep an eye on some of the characters and points introduced in this episode. I have mentioned them below.
1. Fuze, the guild master of the Kingdom of Blumund
2. Youm, the person hired by the Kingdom of Falmuth to investigate Tempest.
3. Phobio: one of the Three Beastketeers of the Beast Kingdom (like the Three Musketeers) serving the Demon Lord Carrion.
4. Demon Lord Clayman, Footman, Tear, and Laplace are all part of the Moderate Harlequin Alliance, which Tear mentioned in this episode.
I hope this helps clarify things and you do not take offence to my comment😜
14:31 very heart warming point..loved it... Wish we get to see occasionally the different cultures show of their uniqueness...and how they appreciate each other...

Me: 🤨
Guy Crimson and Milim are the strongest demon lords
I was surprised when you guys brought up Smite. It was the first thing i thought of when they brought up Charybdis too lmao
Scilla and Charybdis are not gods, they are monsters from Homer's *The Odyssey*
Scilla is a massive fire breathing hydra mounted on a cliff, and Charybdis is a whirlpool full of teeth and tentacles so large that it forces people to sail their boats on the very edge of the cliff where Scilla lives in order to escape the Mediterranean (basically they're the cliffs and whirlpools of Gibraltar given mythic form)
Morgan with the Mommy joke!!!! xD love it
The 3 goofballs and the guild master are of course good people making sure that the slime will not attack their peaceful country.
the tough guy mercenary is a slave soldier from the type of country that decides people are guilty of a crime and forces them to fight. The Harry Potter looking wizard with the mercenaries was supposed to be keeping them in line, but the tough guy convinced him that slave soldiers is a bad idea, and they should fake their deaths in the forest and live somewhere else. Rimiru offering to let them take credit for defeating the orc lord is a new way for them to escape. That is why they were nodding and making eye contact and trying to have a silent conversation sitting at the meeting table.
They can do it cheaper the cave where valdora was kept had a leap of valdoras magic the plabt used to make t(e potions grows naturaly in plaves with leaking magic so the cave grows magic plants easy while the dwarfs have less of the plant and have tobuy it from other countries its cheaper for tempest federation to grow the plants in the cave and make diluted potions to sell also a full potion can be diluted into eben more low potions to sell so higher profit margin
That episode felt like the first time watching the first episode of Game Of Thrones - so many names and characters introduced, had no idea who was who.
wow! The reflection in the UA-cam silver play button looks awesome
12:06 - I hoped they'd get through this reaction without anyone saying it but Morgan couldn't resist 🤣
14:36
So I waited until you guys were done with the series to watch this and looking back at this part of the story with even season 2 knowledge is crazy. It's perfectly reasonable to think back here that the problem with Milim allying herself with Tempest is that the Demon Lords will see it as a power imbalance between them and Milim and will send people to stir up shit. But in reality the problem is Rimuru essentially had Milim vowing to protect his country but not annex it into her territory. It all could have been avoided if they just saw that Rimuru realized that he was nothing compared to them and was just trying to be peaceful with Milim. Of course now I wonder if they would have stirred shit up with Milim for basically forcing them all to sign a non aggression treaty with Rimuru by her declaration of friendship.
This is a happy show! People forgive!... I looked right and left twice...
3:54 Gave me flashbacks to Steins;Gate
How can you love Milim more? Episode 17 lol
First time I've heard anyone call that The Pondering Hill and I love it. That's exactly what it is. 😂
i hope they watch the OAD episodes and slime diaries before they start season 2 it might increase the feelings they will get in season 2 [this anime build up moment are so good]
On last week's schedule there was episode 24.5 for early access viewers.
Seems they're going into S2 after that.
@@naghar9827 i see, i do hope they watch it for more context and story.
Isn't it supposed to be watched before S2E6?
"this is a happy show" well.....
4:23 "This is a happy show, people forgive"
Uhmmm... yeah.... for s1 atleast 😂
Greek god no its ine the two sea monsters that sits in the sea of monsters its said the sea on two sides has a monster on each scylla and carybdis one is a sort of wirlpool with teeth the other lives in a cave and drags people to its rock if sail to close so you have sail in the middle away from both monsters
Cherybdis is a whirlpool with teeth and scylla his sister is a sort sea hydra with human female conected
To exsplain scylla better the rop half is human but instead of legs she has like long tentacles with dragon heads on the end like some sort hydra
Yall are struggling 😂
You shouldn't underestimate how smart Milim actually is. If you pay attention, she is actually getting everything that she wants from the very beginning. She didn't come to the town to fight Rimuru, she came there out of curiosity to investigate.
I think WAY too many people forget that Milim could have easily just have gotten the honey from RImuru had she just said no because their agreement was that he would be her subordinate. People seem to forget that the show is coming from the unreliable narrator position of Rimiru himself.
Just to give an example, "at least 10 times stronger" is a really REALLY strong low ball on how much stronger she currently is than him.
No great sage said not at least she said milim was more than ten stronger than him and said this was just what she managed to measure meaning there’s more she couldn’t measure correctly her magicuels far exceeds yours more than ten times
In her child form so what was the form against Carion showing at this I wish she used that form against awaken Rimuru who has Ultimate Raphael because Raphael can read all of those magicuels counts better than great sage version so Rimuru would have known exactly how strong she is at least in her battle mode then their the stampede mode which is even more crazier
Mjim such a weird word in this show it just means any minster that can use magic of some kind like the ogres are majim but the goblins are not
Youm is my dog
Phobia is so not the strongest.
Gabiru and His Sister Soka and there Brotheren are dragonNewts
She telling "This is a happy show" wait for some more episodes you will know the wrath of a demon lord
After having rewatched Slime with you, I actually wanna change my stance on Seven Deadly Sins in case you ever consider reacting to it: The fanservice in Slime is definitely worse than it is in Seven Deadly Sins (because I heard that was an issue).
However, Seven Deadly Sins does have one recurring pervert gag which involves groping, maybe that's an issue for you. It's played as comedic rather than abusive, and eventually we get to learn about slightly mitigating circumstances, but it's still there.
I still think there are several storylines in there you would really enjoy, though. (the animation does drop considerably in S3 but gets better again for S4 (although not as good as for S1 and S2); don't expect stellar animation overall, though. For the majority, it's alright, not horrible, not bad but not amazing either. Some scenes are great, some frames are dodgy)
the English Dub is really funny, why you watch it with Sub? :) just a suggestion (specially this episode LOL )
You guys are jumping ahead.....it will all make sense soon enough who everybody is and is working for. They tend to throw things at you and explain later.
