I was really hyped for this game but after I looked at the reviews on steam I probably will wait until the full release. And I hope they add some other body types because the body looks super weird. The arms are very long, the thighs are super big and the head is tiny compared to that, it just looks wrong.😂 But I gotta say the art style looks really beautiful. It reminds me of the Arcane series which I love.
I’ll most definitely enjoy this game when it releases fully I love the overall esthetics and textures too I agree the fix points for this game but at the same time not particularly bothered by it either
I feel like the odd proportions are most likely because the almost top-down perspective creates a lot of distortion that they're compensating for. Kind of like the way they paints words on the road all long and thin because you're going to be looking at them at a low angle most of the time.
The character design remind me of Brink and I'm not sure the developers want their characters to be compared to the characters in Brink. 😅 I get that they're going for a certain aesthetic. Dishonored does kind of the same thing, as does Disco Elysium, and it works for those games. We'll see.

Moon Studios just released a balance patch that addressed some of my main complaints.
