Hey there, fam! Get ready for a wild ride as we dive into the world of jaw-dropping, wallet-emptying fails. I'm Charlotte Dobre, and in this mind-blowing UA-cam video, we're uncovering the most outrageous and expensive fails ever caught on camera.
From luxury cars colliding with lampposts to fancy yacht mishaps, we're about to witness the costly consequences of a momentary lapse in judgment. You won't believe your eyes as we showcase the cringe-worthy accidents that make you question the value of these high-priced possessions.
But it's not just vehicles taking a hit in this video. Oh no, we're venturing into the extravagant world of fashion fails, where designer dresses meet champagne spills and red carpet embarrassments. These fashion faux pas will leave you wondering if some people are just born with an unbreakable bank account.
We'll also explore the realm of epic construction fails, where architects and builders seem to have missed a few crucial steps in their multimillion-dollar projects. Prepare to witness skyscrapers leaning like the Tower of Pisa and bridges that make you question the laws of physics.
And what would an expensive fail compilation be without those extravagant gadget mishaps? We've got smartphone slip-ups that will leave you clutching your own device a little tighter, and mind-blowing drone crashes that might make you reconsider your next aerial adventure.
So, grab your popcorn, sit back, and join me on this journey through the most jaw-dropping, eye-wateringly expensive fails you've ever seen. From luxury to laughter, this video will make you appreciate the value of a dollar, and remind us all that even the wealthiest among us can sometimes get a little carried away.
Don't forget to hit that subscribe button and ring the notification bell, because you won't want to miss out on future videos where we explore the world of the outrageously expensive. Charlotte Dobre out!

Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I make a joke or two. I love poking fun at social media, weddings, entitled people, tiktok and OF COURSE petty people. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

I was in a very tourist trap kind of shop one time that had the shelves very close and a sign on each shelf saying “you break it you buy it”. Well an older couple came through and just as the wife was telling her husband she didn’t feel comfortable in the store with shelves so close full of glass her purse hit a shelf and the whole thing came down like a house of cards.
Well the business owner came out yelling for them not to leave and he was calling the cops. He didn’t know the husband of the woman was a retired judge. He said the owner’s insurance should pay for everything his wife broke and if he pulls up any previous filings from that owner claiming insurance loss due to breakage while the owner was double dipping and making customers pay for his set up to basically try to get them to break things that the owner would be looking at multiple felonies.
Oh how the voice lowered, tables turned and apologies were given. Suddenly he was making sure the woman was ok and meant he was gonna call EMS 911 not the cops 911, sorry for the mix up. The judge said he and his son the lawyer will be back and all the “you break you buy” signs better be down and the owner better have proper handicap access as well.
Best Reverse UNO I ever witnessed in person.

I was in a store like that in Nashville several years ago. They had extremely narrow aisles, and glass souvenir items on low shelves just a step inside the store. I was raising a puppy to be a guide dog at the time, and the puppy, Allante' was with me. If I remember correctly they had some items on clearance outside the store, and I had found some trinkets to give to my parents as a thank you for taking care of my *keeper" dog. I stepped inside to go and pay, then I saw how narrow the aisles were, how many glass, ceramic, and other such fragile items were on the lower shelves, right at wagging tail height. I was never happier that I had trained Allante to back up in heel position, as i didn't dare turn around, nor did I want to pay for hundreds of broken nicknacks

That's why I get nervous in antique stores or any stores with narrow aisles like that. I generally carry a big bag around (I take the bus usually so I like to have everything with me I might want/need) and am always worried I will accidentally bump something in places like that.

I once got dressed up in my favorite purple dress and some pretty jewelry and went to see a local performance of Dracula at the community theatre. When asked if I wanted to sit in the "splash zone", I'm a bit adventurous so I said sure. I failed to realize that not only was I seated in the splash zone...I WAS the splash zone. When they plunged the stake into Dracula's heart, stage blood hit me full force all across the front of my favorite purple dress making it the very last time I would ever wear said dress. I looked like Carrie on prom night. I was a good sport about it, but a little down over the dress. I couldn't be too mad, I volunteered to sit there.

When I lived in NJ, I often saw trucks get stuck under one, particular, overpass.
      The solution?
Let the air out of the tires, inch forward slowly, and then pull over to let traffic pass while your dispatcher "rips you a new one", as he calls for a service truck to come and re-inflate the tires... hoping that the wheel rims are not destroyed.
Yep... I have seen this many times.

My most expensive fail happened when I worked at an ice cream factory. The one other baker called in sick, so I had to make about 200 pounds of caramel by myself in a day. I was wheeling a rack of hotel pans (filled with hot caramel) to a storage area. One of the wheels hit a floor drain and the whole rack started falling towards me. Tried to keep it up but it wasn't going to happen. Leaped out of the way but got hot caramel all down one of my legs and it flowed down into my shoes.
Had to rip off my shoes and socks fast as I could. A super hot coworker was an EMT in training and carried me out of the path of the caramel river. Made sure I was okay, not severely burnt, and told me jokes until I stopped crying.
I later hooked up with him so it was worth it I guess? 😂

Two most expensive fails I've ever seen... first was when my bro used to do art classes with an artist who would often be commissioned to paint specific pieces. The teacher had finally finished his work and a fellow artist dropped by during one of the group art classes to celebrate by bringing a bottle of scotch worth several thousand dollars. The two were going to have one drink of the special scotch for the occasion. Now... my brother somehow came too close in the vicinity of these two precious things, managed to knock over the scotch so it spilt all over the artwork. He was very surprised nobody yelled or kicked him out of the class!
The second was when I was working as a live in nanny for an incredibly rich family. The woman owned a Porsche and a Rolls Royce. One night she had the Rolls parked in the driveway and the Porsche a bit further down. From inside we heard a smash and all went outside to see the Rolls handbrake had failed and it rolled down the slope driveway straight into the Porsche. It was crazy.. they were all just standing around laughing and taking photos of it.

Despite numerous warning signs every winter several cars would get totalled hitting that tree. The owner of the property started nailing a hubcap and/or wheel cover from each car to the trunk. Most expensive fail I've ever done was closing the windows to the greenhouse at work where we kept all our very expensive imported Japanese bonsai trees. Basically the switch to the windows had three settings: Open, Close and Automatic. I was under the impression that there was a temperature regulation system in place that would override the setting on the switch in case of extreme temperatures, so when there was a storm brewing I closed the windows to be safe.... Turns out there was no temperature regulation system in place. So when my boss arrived early the next morning, temperature inside had already reached over 45°....
It also didn't help that the bigger, more expensive trees were all positioned closest to the ceiling and thus, the heat...The estimation was anywhere between 30k and 70k in direct damages, no telling the longterm consequences for the trees.
Fortunately I still work there and we now have a way better greenhouse with fully automated windows and multiple security systems in place to make sure our trees will not end up accidentally getting cooked again.

We're a very small team, I was literally number 4 when they added me and I hadn't even been there a full year when this happened. They were quite quick to realize that they'd given me responsibility over the greenhouse without me ever even knowing just what that responsibility entailed. In their minds, locking up was as easy as putting a lock on the door. They never expected me to make the decision by myself to close the windows without first informing them. But I was fully allowed to open and close the windows as I liked during the day, so obviously I didn't realize it was such a big deal. I never even really thought about how fast a greenhouse heats up in the sun.
I do have to say though, although it sounds like a lot of money, and truly it is.... We work with expensive living plants... Any mistake is expensive, and my boss knows that. Half a year ago our youngest team member accidentally snapped the main branch of a 17k tree. Then not much longer after that a big storm snapped a 20k tree straight in half. Schijt happens sometimes. Well unbeknownst to my very small child self, on the table between the mirror gap and it’s strap, was a small vase filled with glass flowers. The strap nocked the vase over, causing one of the flowers to break. And my mom had to pay for it. Needless to say she was not happy with me. I have no idea how expensive it was, but it was not something my mom would have chosen to buy. But she put it up on the fireplace mantle and kept it there for years, until eventually getting rid of it after it broke again when she was dusting. The flowers were super delicate, and she’d already glued it back together multiple times at that point.

When you said spiders are useful, it reminded me of when I rescued a bee yesterday. It had fallen into my mom's full glass of coca cola and it was trying desperately to get out. I figured I would help, got some tissues it could climb on. At that point he was laying still, so I though t it was too late. I still had to get it out so I wanted to scoop it out. However, as soon as it felt something it felt something he could grab and he walked on the tissue. It was probably just exhausted. It took some time to clean off the sticky and cacht its breath, and didn't leave the tissue when I tried to get it on a bird home. But then when I at least tried to make it walk to the dry part of the tissue it had clearly recovered as it suddenly took off back into the wide world again. I may have had a better feeling that I should but I am in a very stressful time in my life so to do something positive, save a little bee, made me just really truly happy for a few minutes. It was just something about seeing it almost gone to fully recovered and flying away that was just giving me a joyful few minutes until my mind started racing about how to get some heavy stuff out my house and get storage, all planned well enough I don't pay for 4 months unnecessarily.

It had Mexican plates so hopefully it was a rental that had purchased damage coverage. There are several signs advising of using the right lane for tall vehicles and posted the clearance clearly above each lane. Since traffic was sparse, they had plenty of time to move over. I and another parent were at a competition and had brought other children to compete. He had a lifted truck and I had a Suburban but we were going into a parking garage and I entered first while the teenagers could spot to see if he cleared because he was at that height. It was quite a distance to the venue so afterwards we decided to get the vehicles and pick them up at the venue so they wouldn’t be lugging all their gear. As we started to leave, I saw with horror that his 4 lights on the roll bar were going to collide. He stopped as I was laying on the horn. It took us a minute to realize that the extra weight in the truck had lowered it enough to clear. We let out the tires so it could clear safely and a crisis was averted.

I've had two Queensland heelers in the past and hope to find another. They are stubborn but very smart and perfect ranch dogs. I have goats, and those dogs are naturals at herding and learn fast. They can also take the Summer heat better than most dogs.
We have large predators here, and I found the heelers are smart enough to not try to tangle with a wolf or mountain lion, while my border collie used to think he was bullet-proof, invisible, and 10 feet tall when he was young. He went after a pack of coyotes once, ignoring my yelling, "Come back!". He came back half hour later, covered in blood, none of it his.
My dogs were all adopted from owners who had "problems" with them. My bc had herded his owner's small children into a corner of the yard and proceeded to fiercely guard them from the new babysitter. Oops!

My awesome sister is a veterinary radiologist. She once X-rayed an Amazon parrot. The parrot's owner had put the bird on the shoulder of a woman at a cocktail party. The parrot immediately took a large carat ruby earring from the woman's ear and swallowed it. The ruby was recovered without harming the bird, but I hope bird owners are listening. Don't assume everyone wants to hold your pet.

Many years ago, I had an aluminium double extension ladder on the roof rack on top of my car.
I had been driving for about 20 minutes, and had this sudden panic, that I might have forgotten to secure the ladder.
So I gently brought the car to a stop, just in case.
It turns out, that I hadn’t secured it.
What amazes me, is that in never moved.
I had been stopping and starting in traffic, and was travelling at 60mph when panic hit.
I was lucky the ladder never came off. I dread to think what would have happened if it had.
After that, I never forgot to tie my ladder on again.

Bears are that strong. They can rip a car apart, or a truck, with no effort at all. I live in the Ocala National Forest and we are cautioned never to leave food in a car, it's illegal to have a compost pile and you never see trash cans outside. We take our trash to the dump. There are a lot of bears here.

@@grahvis It's a hard one because they would still say the driver was responsible for choosing to go ahead if he knew the plane wouldn't fit. If he didnt know it would be his responsibility to know the height and weight of the vehicle and make sure it was safe where he was going. Unfortunately as the person in charge of the vehicle he would be at fault.
