Kate Griggs founded the charity Made By Dyslexia to help the world embrace and understand dyslexic thinking.

I can relate to much of the experiences you both are talking about. I couldn't fall asleep because I dreaded school so much. Especially spelling and math.
When I was older I remember seeing a poster of a fish trying to climb a tree. I don't remember exactly what it read. But something along the lines of do what you are good at. Schools are trying to get us dyslexia s to climb the tree. Instead of teaching what we are good at. Thank you for this information!!
One more thing, some things I see instantly, and others I don't see at all.
I'm also a predictor, I see patterns.
We are the gifted !
I am torn, the parts I struggle with are the things that "normal" people bullied me for.
It overshadowed the best parts of me, my super creativity.

young children? you mean people? adhd and dyslexia have nothing to do with age. I have both myself had many problems as a child in school but as a 40yr old adult i still struggle to the same degree.

I was diagnosed with AuDHD but not dyslexia. I think I do have it because I relate a lot.
