I remember as a teenager there weren't even that many shades for white people but there were absolutely no shades for brown and black people, it feels weird to even think about it now.
Really? That is wild that there weren’t a lot of shades for peach skin. I just figured there was always that option.
@@Ohemaa Yeah it was a struggle even for us pale faces, especially me since I'm very pale and even more so for my bestie who's even more pale than me, everything either looked orange or red lol.
@@Ohemaa Fenty was basically just as revolutionary for pale af people and those with albinism as it was for black people. I literally live in a 99% white country and even now I struggle to find a drugstore foundation that doesn't make me look like I have jaundice despite me not even being particularly pale. White people foundation is mostly made for white people who haven't used sunscreen once in their entire lives, not those who know what skin cancer is

Love this!!! Some women have to use literal black eye shadow for contour and that is a crime!!!! Why are people afraid to make a “black” contour? Like….. your skin is dark, the only thing that will make a shadow line will be either black or dark black/brown! Come on makeup brands don’t be scared of black, it’s gorgeous and loads of women will buy it if you make it!!! ❤❤❤❤ I actually liked the darkest shade on you better because it was subtle enough once blended out. 😘

Wow! That is the darkest base shade I have ever seen - and it's not too red like they usually end up.
I'm going to point to this brand next time someone says that darker shades are too hard to make. It can be done if it's prioritized.

Ohemaa I've been riding with you since we were using the Juvias Place Chocolate palette for contour and bronzer because there was very Very few bronzers/contours that worked for us and weren't red! I'm going to check them out Immediately!

Love this and that darker girls have better quality choices for their skin, but just a note, bronzer is always warm toned and contour is always cool, so that black creme is a contour, not a bronzer.

And the black thrown in there? This brand only has 10shades with a gorgeous graduation to include black. REM Development budget vs Worthy. So many factors why REM failed where this brand didn’t.
