How bias NBA 76es never been in 1seed since day 1 but NBA ESPN pick embiid mvp before embiid got injured but denver NUGGETS need to be number 1 😂😂😂to get mvp award haha😂😂😂😂
Can you explain why Embiid, even though he didn't get the number one seed in the East in NBA ESPN, was considered the MVP before getting injured? Both the Denver Nuggets and the 76ers were 3rd seeds then. Why does the Denver Nuggets need to be the number 1 seed for Jokic to get the MVP? The voters are really biased, especially people like you. The NBA is really racist.
@user-ug8rr1ep9z I am a die hard nuggets fan and Jokic should have won his 3rd in a row last year. But dude, the way Embiid was playing this year before going down was unreal amd at THAT point in the season he was definitely MVP. Look at his numbers and you will see that Embiid really was playing at a different level. He would have obliterated the NBA record for PER all while leading the league in scoring, averaging 35/11/6. The man was seriously playing at a level I have never seen him play at and that is saying something considering how great of a player he is.
Either way, Jokic ended up deserving it this year after it's all said and done and it really should be 4 in a row now.
@@connorh6183 bias embiid never been in number 1 seed before he got injured end still NBA ESPN you yourself say embiid is the mvp they don't need to be in number seed but denver NUGGETS need to get number 1 seed so jokic can be mvp
“Jokic has never been on the top of my MVP ballot”. Thanks, that’s all I need to hear. You just lost all credibility.
Ric, Rob Parker, and Kendrick Perkins are the worst
It's Ric Bucher. He's a 🤡. Doesn't surprise me
Why he lose all credibility, the man doesn't have to agree with the majority of what people think
Ric Bucher = a tool
He never had Joker on top of his MVP ballot over the last three years? Yea that is a problem.
OKC: finishes atop the west

Dumbest argument I heard in my life stg especially when OKC the youngest team

Not really. Regular season in general is far less competitive than post season, and people don't consider OKC as a credible post season threat. Sort of like how Nuggets were treated last year. For the entire season, the narrative was that the road to the finals goes through Denver, not Oklahoma. If OKC goes on a deep post season run, next year it will be much different.
As if the players are stupid and don't pay attention. Terrible argument.
The real reason he and others will vote for Jokic is because they messed up last year giving it to Embiid instead of him. This is a makeup for that. They robbed Jokic, now they will rob SGA
@@lordrangoSo you’re saying professional NBA coaches and players only play hard against the best teams, or at least, only the teams they think will be in the playoffs?
The level of disrespect in that mindset is unreal. Denver was getting everyone’s best shot but no one tried to beat the Thunder. And THAT’S the only reason they ended up in first place.

He’s made zero good takes. Does he have a history with basketball analysts? Doesn’t he come from football?
Slept on the thunder but yet continues to ignore the meaning of "Most Valuable Player" umm am I missing something? This is the reason why the media should never have a say when it comes to voting. The goal post gets shifted, and narratives always change just to fit their version of MVP.
I don’t care if you vote Jokic over SGA but to say that the Thunder didn’t get everybody’s best shot is a bs take. They were at the top of the west standing all year. How do you sneak up on people at the top of the standings?
He's saying it so he can vote for Jokic. He wants to give it to Jokic and needs a reason so he made up one. All I study is belief systems and the subconscious. I'm telling you he had his mind up already. If Denver had the 3rd seed he would still vote for Jokic.
@@AnonymousUser-ss2qr There are legitimate reasons to genuinely consider voting for Jokic over SGA (e.g. Jokic leads the league in total winshares - a measure of how much a player contributes to a win - as well as winshares per 48mins, offensive, defensive and overall Box plus/minus _as well as_ efficiency), but this clown went for some absolutely baseless nonsense instead. *They should be embarrassed.*

Nikola Jokic is great but hella overrated the white media are hyping him up to be the next white hope he is not the face of the nba nor the best that titles belongs to Giannis or either Anthony Edwards JA Morant and upcoming superstar in Wembemyana
Horrible explanation for SGA not to get the vote
Ok here's a simple explanation for you: Jokic is a better player than SGA, and he's more valuable to the Nuggets than SGA is to OKC. Was that better?
Funny thing is that Jamal murray has never been an All-Star. So Skip saying that is just crazy!
Still All-Star worthy
That's a very lazy way to say you choosing jokic they snuck up on ppl literally everyone said okc was coming this was no surprise
It's made even worse by the fact that Jokic leads the league in a number of key metrics like efficiency, winshares (basically scaling a players impact on team success) and winshares per 48 mins and this absolute bozo ignores all of that.
Jokic might be the most under appreciated basketball player in history. With that said, this is going to be a difficult vote. Just imagine if Embid qualified for MVP this year.

It’s not just the 1st place finish, they beat Denver 3 out of 4 games this season and SGA hit the game winner with a second left IN DENVER!
"Nobody was expecting them to be vying for #1"
That's exactly why SGA is deserving. Everyone including myself probably thought they'd be a lower playoff seeded team or a Play-In team again at best, yet they are #1 in a tough Western conference. If they were in the East, they'd probably have the best record in the NBA by far since they'd be playing more Eastern teams. They have a 70% win percentage against the East & a 69% win percentage against the West. Take SGA off OKC, they'd be a lottery team, they're way too young, but SGA's leadership & skills is what takes them to the top of the standings. OKC would be a far worse team witthout SGA, than the Nuggets would be without Jokic. You can't penalize SGA because "this is his first time, so teams didn't play hard against them." Lol
Over rated ...
Jaylen williams is not far from him as far as talent and will be allstar in the close years , chet is great for his impact at the rim and they have elite shooters surrounded and great bench , sga is a bucket we know but he cant impact the game like jokic or luka or even brunson , and it will show up playoff time , they are first round exit mark my words.
@@underworldeu1626 "will be allstar in the close years"
But is Jaylen there yet? No. Chet is great for a rookie, but without SGA would he have been capable of leading OKC to the Playoffs? No. They are 2-5 without SGA this season, while the Nuggets are 2-1 without Jokic. "they are a first round exit" has nothing to do with MVP talk, as what happens during the playoffs doesn't account for who wins MVP. He can't impact the game like Jokic, Luka, or Brunson? Well some of those guys can't impact the defensive end like SGA. Lmao
Jokic is the best and will make anyone or any team a championship team. He make each of his teammates better.

Tatum has two other teammates who are averaging 20+ ppg, Joker only has one in Murray. Tatum's starting lineup not including himself averages 70.8ppg, Joker's starting mates average 61.9ppg. SGA, Luka, Jokic all deserving but for me it came down to number 1 seed in the West. Shai as the sole all star on his team should edge it out, leading a young squad to the top counts. Denver got the better of team, Mavs got Kyrie.
But they will make up whatever narrative to give it to Jokic. And it'll happen in 2025 too.
For those who think SGA is MVP and dominated NBA consider this. All or most Stars stats in the league start to regress a bit after All Star game since is the 2nd half of the season and defenses start playing harder, but…. These are he’s stats (Avg/Game) as the season progressed:

Not a Mavs fan but Luka should win
SGA deserve MVP Jokic has a superstar with him Jamal. SGA is doing this on his own some good players.
Degree of difficulty?? Skip is insane. Joker plays everywhere and completely controls the offense. He is also swarmed in the paint and still makes the right play.
Give SGA his due man
Remember that the Mavs rested all of their starters for the finals games..... OKC literally got a free win lol
Also OKC's OFF rating goes from 119 to like 117 without SGA
The Mavs go from like 116 to 108 without Luka
This idea that OKC are scrubs without SGA is hilarious
We were still competing for the number 1 seed lmao. The starters only played like 15 min.
Yep and wemby rested against them. 2 mavericks games down the stretch luka didn’t play.
The other team is still in the NBA wtf u talking about. They still could have won
And the Spurs beat the Nuggets. One of the worst teams in the NBA
I've had Sga Luka TATUM and Ant Edward's as my top 4! Shai deserves so much more attention they own the #1 spot and Tatum does too like wtf they the Most Valuable Players on they're team
Keyshawn always with the « your casual basketball fan » takes. You take his arguments, they could all be valid for Luka. But he argues different when it comes to Doncic. Totally biased
Go Thunder! Fck what y'all talking! 👊🏾😑
⛈️⚡️
Petition to get keyshawn off the show
Skip: Jamal is an all star.
Jamal: I am? When did i become that?
Bukvalno lazu ko psi
Shai is mvp it’s not even debatable
Two words: DENVER NUGGETS 💪🏽
Idemooo Jokaraaaaa, kiiiidaj, cela Srbija je ponosno uz tebe!
SGA officially arrived as a superstar this season. I'm sure he's going to be the MVP at some point, maybe multiple times. Just not now. Luka should get it, but Joker has the narrative surrounding him. That's how it goes.
He arrived last year, this year he affirmed and proved it wasn't a fluke
Naw no next year bro he is the MVP this year @@MickeyEntertains
@@MickeyEntertains true
@@Mansjushereinnit He wasn't the #1 seed last season or projected as possible MVP. This was his breakout season. This was the type of season Deaaron Fox should have had.
@@mr.anderson3694
His team broke out this year not the player....
You can't tell me he didn't breakout last year when he got his 1st All Star, All NBA 1st Team and Averaged 31.4 PTS, 4.8 Reb, 5.5 AST, 1 BLK and 1.6 STL on 51 - 34.5 - 90.5 Splits
Let's stop playing around, Last Year was his big break man....if we being honest his realbreak was probably 2021/22 because if Paolo got his breakout season this year shai got his back then because Paolo this year as an all star averaged what Shai got that year🤷🏾♂️
This guy should stick to College football because the Thunder was a top 3 seed since November. That’s other teams fault for sleeping on them. And he brought up Lebron for MVP
Nice to almost hear a show talk about 1 of the other 29 teams without mentioning the Lakers.
lakers cowboys yankees are the biggest teams in sports....it is what it is
Jokić MVP
Shai does not have the stats to compare to Jokic
10th in ppg (5th in total)
4th in RPG (3rd in total)
3rd APG (2nd in total)
2nd field goals made
8th in steals
58.3 field goal %
65% true shooting
9th in minutes played
1st in PER
1st in win shares
1st box plus/minus
1st in VORP
1st in PIE
1st in Raptor
2nd in triple doubles
On floor +11.6
Off floor -8.4
On/off = +20.0
SGA finished the year off super inconsistent. He had his worst games to finish the year
6 games missed
Against the bucks - 23/7/3 33%shooting
Against the knicks- 19/2/3 4 turnovers
Against the bucks again - 12/3/2 4 turnovers
Against Toronto - 23/7/8 with 6 turnovers
MVP is about the impact on team. That's why, SGA should get it. Jokic clearly has the better team.
@@upfulsoul826 Shai’s on/off court numbers say otherwise. They have a really solid team actually.
@@upfulsoul826nuggets fan here their roster isn’t very good last him and Murray. When jokic sits they kinda suck
@user-uv9oy1qp5m you're crazy MPJ and Gordon have actually won them games and I'm a huge Nuggets fan. Murray isn't the only player that helps. You might want to get DIRECTV so you can actually watch all the games.
@@lawrencealexander3737 Ikr lol. KCP is very good too.
Luka should be MVP! 1st in scoring and 3rd in assists . With the Mavs winning 50games.
Defense exists, and Jokic is a league above him in that regard
He is second in the latest poll
SGA deserves MVP!!!
MVP obviously is not the best player, nor is it the player who had the best season. So it’s completely discretionary and therefore meaningless.
Thunder leads the series against Denver 3-1
SGA- MVP
I mean I get it's hard to choose between them I get it but there sounds like some media bias towards Jokic to get it, dude was using any and every excuse for Shai not to win it
One year it's best team best record. Best player. Next year it's Jokic is the best. One year it's triple doubles. Man is second in scoring 1st in steals in the west but naw
SGA FOR MVP 🏆
People think that just because you score/average 30+ppg for 50+ games in a season that makes you the MVP, but it’s also about making your teammates better/elevating them.
Just shut up you saying exactly what SGA did with the 30+ ppg lol just stop talking basketball you bot
They were 10th seed last year. Won the season series against the champs. Y’all so biased, it’s embarrassing.
@christopherdavis6918 you didn't listen to him or don't know how to read. He said it's about elevating the other players. Mvp isn't about beating a certain team or being first in the west with the same record as the number two seed. Mvp is about making your whole team better. Jokic absolutely does that. He involves everyone. He doesn't need to score 50 a game. That's how great he is.
@@sickfix2107 you don’t comprehend. A team doesn’t go from 10th seed to 1st seed without players being elevated. But not only did he elevate the entire teams play, he elevated them above Jokic in 3 out of 4 matchups. Don’t be willfully asinine.
Jokic is modern day Tim Duncan.
I can’t believe sga has taken a group of rookies to the top seed😮😮
Jokić was fifth in total points, third in total rebounds, second in total assists, and eighth in total steals. He’s the only player in NBA history to be top-10 in all four categories in a single season.
Nikola was the only player in the NBA that was top-15 in average points (twelfth), assists (fourth), and rebounds (fourth) this season.
Jokić led the entire league in on/off offensive efficiency with plus-18.9 points per 100 possessions.
He was first in total plus-minus at plus-682.
Jokić was first in VORP (Value Over Replacement Player), PER (Player Efficiency Rating), Win Shares, Offensive Win Shares, Box Plus/Minus, Offensive Box Plus/Minus, and Defensive Box Plus/Minus.
Every single Nuggets starter had a higher effective field goal percentage with Jokić on the floor compared to him off it.
Jokić was the only player in the league that averaged at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. He's the sixth player to ever put up these numbers.
Nikola was second in total at-rim assists and total two-point assists.
He was first in total steals by a center.
Jokić was fifth in total deflections in the NBA.
He was second in the NBA in non-restricted painted area field goal percentage at 61.7 percent (minimum 100 attempts). This is typically where players take floaters and hook shots from.
He finished second in total points in the painted area.
Y'all talking smack. SGA literally carried his team to a place no one imagined averaging 30 a game with less personnel than Denver. The MVP title has lost credibility
Luka better than both
If that's the case don't worry Luka will get the finals MVP

Is not OKC fault that everyone slept on them, SGA is my MVP!
SGA easily should be MVP. 10 seed to number 1. And they have been in the top 3-4 ALL SEASON
That's completely not true what Ric said about this was the 'first year' where Jokic imposed is will - he's done that his whole career in games where it's needed. If this is the first year Ric is voting for Jokic I don't trust him to tell me what day of the week it is
They all actualy admitted that Joker is the best player in the league in the last 4 years and although they all don't like him he should be the mvp this year and that SGA (no matter how great he is) should wait next season for that award. Unbeleavable level of wisdom from these dudes 😀
The consensus thinking for the past few years has been that NO ONE plays hard during the regular season so why is OKC/SGA the only entity being penalized for it? Same could be said for Denver and Boston. Who’s to say teams were giving their all against them on a nightly basis as well.
OKC beat nuggets 3-1 this season. It’s a no brainer SGA is MVP
0 banners congratulations for regular season championship lmao
Well you obviously don't have a brain so it works.
Luka deserves the MVP, why are yall talking about SGA and Jokic??
This is such a dumb discussion to even have. SGA should not even be in the conversation - dude is just an absolute free throw merchant and anyone who's bag includes bobbing his head back everytime he drives to the hoop just cannot be an MVP. This should be between luka and jokic. And that's a reasonable debate to be had. Yes the mavs are 5th but the nuggets were a lower seed the first time jokic won.
Jokic was drafted in 2014. How many years did it take him to be at this level. He is only a champion because he is surrounded by players who are playing with heart like Murray, Gordon, and Porter. When Murray did not play in 2022, GSW beat Denver. It's only when Murray returned when Denver became champion. Jokic is just lucky he has very good team mates.
