    Love your enthusiasm and excitement! Your videos are fun and funny! Thanks for sharing and for praying for us, that is very special. Perhaps on this one it might be easier to use the thin tweezers. That way you can see where you are placing them better.

    Very pretty, and I learned something about UV resin. I had tried to make some UV resin jewelry using black and was very disappointed that they did not cure properly. Now I know that it's because it was too dark which makes complete sense now but I didn't think about that before. Thanks for the tip. Thanks for the videos, and thanks for the prayers. God bless you and your family!

    Best surprise! It was so good to come home from a school day and see your video. You were missed but I love that you set your boundaries and prioritize the right things. Loved your prayer and praying with you actually. Oh yeah, the earrings are adorable too. I'm wondering if it would help to put the top of the earring closest to you just when trying to align them. Thinking that might make it easier to see if the sides are equal. Just a thought. Guess I'll have to think about getting these now.

    I was wondering if you have ever had jewelry pieces leak after you thought they were cured? I had made a pair of earrings with black Mica powder, I cured them front and back and thought they were good, I even wore them several times. Yesterday, I opened the drawer to my jewelry box and they were oozing and separating from the bezels 😮
    What a smelly mess they made!!
    I know black is difficult to work with with UV resin but since they were hardened and seemed to be fully cured I thought I was all set. I was very surprised to find them in that condition and now I'm concerned if I make something for somebody if it's going to happen again or if it's more than likely just because of the black.

    • @DezyJewelry
      @DezyJewelry  8 місяців тому

      Yes! That has totally happened to me. Where both sides were cured/hard but the inside was not. I squished it too hard and the inside came oozing out. So I totally understand.
      You can't use black or a deep black or dark deep colors with UV resin. The light needs to penetrate all the way through the resin or you will ooze every time. No matter how long you put it under the light.
      With UV resin you have to use lighter colors.
      Now epoxy is way more forgiving when it comes to coloring. You can darken the color as much as you want. You can use pitch black. YOu may want to consider being able to use both uv resin an epoxy. I would highly recommend it. I do both and love the different things I can do with each one and some times I use both of them for one piece.
