- Algebraic Method or Equal game method of game theory will help you to solve your numerical questions easily.
This video is the 2nd part of game theory.
This video contains the method of game theory called EQUAL GAME METHOD.
Equal game theory is one of the important method used in game theory to understand the strategy of the competitor.
The solution or answer we got by solving it will be similar to odds method but its calculation is different from the odds method, it require certain mathematical calculations and equations to solve this method.
This video will going to help you to understand this difficult calculations.

Sir the value of game by odds method is coming out to be 4 but according to the equal game method it is coming out to be 5/2
But in the starting of the video you told that equal game theory = odds method, sir pls. clear my doubt

value of game = 4*(p) + 2*(1-p) or 4*q + 1*(1-q), after putting the values of p & q we will get value of the game directly... no need to do all that long shitty calculation.

There is nothing being taught is thus video. He’s just giving out formulas without any explanation for them.
There is hardly any logic given, just mug the formulas and apply them to solve problems.
If the purpose is only to pass an exam perhaps it is of some use otherwise
one cannot learn the application of Game theory by such rote learning.

For example at 4:22, in this video you don’t explain why numbers in column 1 multiplied by respective probabilities p1 and (1-p1) is equal to the value of probabilities multiplied by column 2 numbers.

Can you explain why should expected pay off of player A is equal irrespective of whatever strategy B selects?

However how is the pay off of A same when either B1 or B2 strategy is selected. I haven’t understood this.
