5:00 I disagree with the assessment that Luda made a simple mistake and his intent should matter. He looked down at his chips, counted them and put them in. His action is complete. If Luda missed Wesley's raise, that's a personal problem, not an etiquette problem
100% agree with you it’s Luda fault and not on Westley to allow him to correct his mistake
I love this comment cus its the truth.... we call thay "HIS BAD". Thats the rules
I'd never let him correct the sizing. He is not some drooling whale.
Agreed. Not bad etiquette. What if Luda put more in and said he misclicked? His fault plane and simple.
You can disagree all you want it's still bad etiquette on Wesley's part to not allow Chris to make it whatever he intended to make it.
I don’t agree with the commentator here. If a dude makes a bet he can’t then go back and say he meant to make it more. Next time verbalize before putting the chips in.
This works when there are 10 1/2 tables running and an endless supply of loose players… how big is the player pool for this game do you reckon and how can that change the calculus?
yea its up to the dealer if anything . wesley did nothing wrong there . if anything thats the proper way to play tournament poker.
Wesley is not allowed to "let him". The rules are the rules.
@@Donkadocus the rules are different the higher stakes you go. Ask any high stakes players
@@willjay6943tournament poker? This is a cash game.
"Max value" XD Wesley is hilarious, it's good to have someone to root against but I just like having him in the game, he's a character.
Wes not allowing Luda to increase his raise was fine, nothing wrong with that. JBOOGS, crying and acting like a low stakes player is priceless.
Move down in stake if u got no money and gonna whine like a little pssi
IKR crying like he staked him or something
Wrong timing for slow playing his K-K-K.
@@josephpuatu1808 not really he had the board locked up lol I would have definitely bet more on flop and bombed turn but it was a rainbow board
I couldnt agree more. Everything you just stated was completely factually. A man with a brain!
When you lose 10s of thousands of dollars in a pot to a kid and then hear his soft spoken Chinese voice say Max Valuuueee!🤣🤣
And he thinks hes cool cuz he got back from Vegas lol
Gotta have fun every now and then , no ? Not that annoying either
@@mynamejeff508 super annoying…you must not have seen his ridiculous ways over the last few months
Lol
@@hiphopconnoisseur8314 with that point both of those guys knew better
Jboogs almost breaking into tears always gets me xD
I'm waiting for someone to stack Wesley in future episode and then say "MAX VALUEEEEEE" 🤣🤣🤣
Or tell him it was an overplay lol
I don’t blame Wes for not allowing him to fix his bet. He already had money in the pot. If he didn’t already have money in pot I’d feel different about it.
This is a low stakes comment lol
Jeremy throwing his cards and then blaming the dealer. Gross individual.
Yeah disgusting , throwing cards and blaming dealer. Can’t manage your tilt don’t be a pro.
@@Kinggoldspoon calling that dude a pro is a real stretch
@@narele25 lol
He has himself to blame slow playing a diamond turn….Max valueeee 😆
Throwing cards=no class
I've never played in a casino that allows people to bet and then say "oh, I misfired, I meant to bet this much..." Luda's mistake is Luda's problem.
12:14 was kind of nuts. Two different camera angles. Jboogs throws his cards and they exit one frame at the same position/time as they enter the other frame (and landed on Wesley lol)
Perfectly haha!
Wesley was a perfect gentleman, didn't make a bid deal with it or just laugh it off. If it was some hot head prick, it will be an issue. This is why I love poker. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
I love raw emotion. I feed off the real frustration. Jeremy is mad, love the energy, I feed off of it.
He lets Wesley get there and cries about it lol 😂 I mean if I was Wesley i would have continued there too
i would continue too in the turn but the question is what did he call with 87 in that flop after raising??? he just called i dont know for what, and than just got lucky!!!
What's with Jboogs throwing his cards towards Wes after he lost 12:10? That is insanely poor poker etiquette imo
I missed that, normally it's to show the other player their hand but that looked to be frustration. If a player tosses his cards at me without me peacefully asking and hits me with them, I'm going Gambit on his ass.
I think Wes is a great character! I am a Wesley fan! For only playing for a few months he is a better than average player! I think he is great for this size game!
Wes is a joke and a brat
Yeah he’s an action player who’s on the good side of variance.
its not bad etiquette at all this is standard dealer protocol and in some perspective what luda did was angle shooting. if everyone was allowed to make a raise and try to correct it afterwards, live poker would be dead
What is wrong with this announcer? The bet was $1600 no matter what he said he "intended". I have been a dealer in high stakes games for 40 years
He’s an LA dweeb that’s why
I disagree with the commentator. Why should you allow him to raise after he messed up. I would have done the same thing.
Let me know what you think?
can't string bet anyway
Wesley the fan favorite
@@majinbuu518 I’ll consider him obnoxious in 6 months if he continues with his etiquette, right now I’m chalking that up to being fairly new.
I like the way he plays though. Very entertaining.
@@sunnyboy8644 Perspective, I suppose. Just sounds like you have no tolerance for improper etiquette, which is fine. I started watching him when he first started though, and it hasn’t been that long.
A lot of these situations that people are at his jugular for are pretty nuanced scenarios that are hard to learn from a book. Give it time.
@@mrsusan893 yeah how dare not know perfect poker etiquette after a week!
Yea luda's mistake and wesley has every right to decline. Luda's action is complete.
dealer should've said no already
Jeremy is betting when he is behind👌😂👏
Jeremy throws his card onto wesleys face LOL
Ah poor Jeremy 😭😭😭 ‘I save money’ he says at the end 😂😂😂😂 -> 🤭🤡🤡🤡🤡
Saving it to give away in a future pot!
DGAF calls out Wesley when he did nothing wrong and say nothing about Jeremy tossed his card at Wesley and blaming Magic. I guess he just doesn’t like a specific player
He loves jboogs. Always claims he’s a near professional level player
Wrong, he loves Wesley! Also, this is not a random game, this is a private game so what Wesley did is not cool. You never played in a game like that or else you would understand the situation. Any other place I would agree with you.
Max valueeeee lmao
Always fist pump when jeremy loses. Such a dork.
Trying to call out Wes bc he won’t let a player that announced raise & put in the chips and said player wanted to make it more is pretty weeeeeeeakkk. Tbh the dealer shouldn’t even get the ok from the other players, kinda a basic rule that original raise stands. Let me try this in the WSOP next week and see how far that fly’s
“Drawing dead and they got there”
I hope Raver is commentating Max Pain Monday🤞
Commentator is a knob. You ain't getting handouts at this game so get it right the first time.
Man I only play low stakes and I’m never ever checking top set on that turn.
Then you would have just lost more money if Wesley calls on the flop there he's not folding to a bet on the turn. Now if the argument is you should make the raise there because you're going to win the hand then yeah of course. But if you think he was going to fold he isn't
He check-called the flop. Donking that turn card doesn't make sense.
Wouldn’t have mattered at that point. He made a bad call on the flop but when the turn gave him open ended with a first draw he was not getting rid of Wesley there
The guy
was unhappy with the cards but he never blamed himself for checking calling topset in a three way game. That's plain bad.
@@BDM7 results oriented thinking
West side Wesley can never do no wrong
Wesley has no clue except when the deck runs over him.
5:00
I thought 3-bet weren't bad. It's usually a call, but it's a situation where you should squeeze a certain number of times.
10:14
I thought slow play on the multi-way was not good. I was surprised because I thought it would be a check raise.
sorry. Action in poker is free. Only the person sitting at the table can decide the action. Everyone is wonderful.
If you're allowed to say you made a mistake and put more preflop then you're allowed to take some back if you don't like it.
wesley is like god on this table
Tbh Wesley ended up saving Luda some money in that pot with the pre flop action. Also I think most people would not have let Luda make it 2600 pre flop
dude definitely was bricked up after that
Wes jacket is dope
Wesley got that future Chinese overlord personality thing going on.
Love watching nits get absolutely burned for slow playing.
Wes has officially become the villain in the game.
A tutorial on how " Not to play KK " !!
This is the one time I agree with Wesley
People toss runner runner straight + flush draws to quickly over small bets post flop, Wesley's right he turned the world and had a great drawing hand to go all-in with to keep a great range between the Nuts and a bluff.
Luck has got nothing to do with it. If you never fold you're going to realize your equity more often but you're going to lose in the long run.
Steady Mobbin
Wes is a great actor😅
More i watch him. The more you can see he's def an actor.
Id be needling him everytime I get a win with max value due to him mis playing his hand.
Has is that max value with Aces against Kings lol. What a nit.
Luda Chris messed up there’s no take backs
Just a general rule of thumb .. you never wanna be the guy that’s blaming the dealer 😂😂 it’s a bad look
No wonder this kid hired a driver/security
So shark lol says I’m gonna be adding on before he calls
I didn't see the transition & so at first thought f*cking Wesley sat down & right away pocketed rockets
Was not surprised
In what casino can you retract your bet based on intent and it’s considered etiquette to let them do it? They are trying to take each other’s money, not playing pattycake
10:10 SANTA!!! I KNOW HIM! I KNOW HIM!
7:25 Drawing dead means zero outs. They wasn't drawing dead
What the hell is this commentator talking about bad edict!?!? why would that even be a option wes raised to 600 luda made it 1600.. than says oops i ment to make it more can i take my bet that i have already placed back and make it more please.. on what planet is that ever aloud and how is it bad edict for wes to say no.. he shouldn't even be the deciding Factor, the dealer needs to enforce the rules and tell Luda he cannot change his bet.. and commentator should know that and stop talking all that nonsense.
like half these clip videos have a giant audio spike right at the head. get your audio together please.
No "etiquette" comment about Jboogs throwing his cards at Wesley?
That’s why I rarely slow-play any more (unless it’s the Uber-nuts). The poker gods like to punish that kind of play.
I would never let that JBoogs guy come back and play a game tbh. He literally THREW his cards at Wesley.. they like touched him. I would've called floor. IDC if that's for TV, stream, whatever... that's ABSURD.
Yup, I agree. Then complaining to the dealer saying "MAGIC, HOW DO YOU ALWAYS DO IT?" like it's his fault you misplayed top set 🤣
Yea this dude really acting like a whiny 12 year old on stream
"They like touched him"
Dumba said check n got mad
If someone throws their cards at me we’re fighting.
Regardless of this , did anyone think Wesley was just a bit of a rogue anyway
Jboogs played like a noob. With three of kind he should raised 3X immediately after the flop , instead he just called. Then in the turn he just checked. Finally in the river card he bets, knowing higher possibility of flush.
That last clip of JBOOG is probably the worst I’ve ever seen a set of kings played. Always bet your set
I don't think West side Wesley means any harm with the things that come out of his mouth ?
It's just his personality, along with the language barrier, he comes off like a pompass ass sometimes? :). But he's actually just a very nerdy, and very smart guy... And he's running like a God here . :).
Wes is still learning...for those people and silly commentator, give it a rest. Wes has done more for this poker channel than the commentator. Wes is fun and never intended to poke fun to anyone directly. He sometime misplace his two cents on situations but he is cool, win or lose.
Hate to see aa vs kk . Lol
The announcer is wrong about the raise etiquette. It's not like Wesley was going to fold J-10 for $1k more anyways.
Bro I would love to drive a super car for an 8 hour drive
And Wes flies econ? What's the point.
Intent is what matters at the poker table? Since when is that the case? You can argue of the ethics from Wesley.
But your actions at the poker table is what matters, not your intent.
Timesfamp of when he said max value? Lol
End of first hand
Realy it's ludas fault in that case everyone would just say on I meant to make it more can't be changing bets
that fold was sooo rude
Perfect spot for a check raise on the flop with top set, definately not safe to slow play. A.J, A10, J.9 and J.10 all want to see a turn and river.. Ouch
We don’t know if Luda is punting mr. commentator. Wesley made the correct decision not allowing him to rethrow money in the pot.
Disagreed with the commentator, Wes already had money in the pot, so mistake or not Luda's bet stands
Also it looks like the commentator is annoyed by Wes becaus he always get there? Lmao
Definitely minimum value cuz preflop allin ia one of the max value action.
That jack 10 hand was not poor etiquette…. He had jack 10. Why would he won’t to let Luda put in 1k more when Wesley already had 600$ in the pot pre flop
Don’t blame Wesley for not allowing the$2,600.00 bet. It was actually the dealer’s decision to allow or not allow or call for the floor to decide. Most times the verbal intent will be enforced by the dealer to put the money in despite any objections of any player(s).
i don't think it's that gross to see a flop there. don't get me wrong, i don't think being courteous is in wesley's vocab, but it's not out of line at a very high stakes poker table when dudes are not your friends to make them honor the bet they put on the table. i would have let him change his sizing but it's totally within the realm of reason and decency to see a flop. luda has a ton of experience.
Jboogs could not have player that hand any worse
Not bad etiquette really I think what if Wesley was thinking folding that 1600 now he has throw more in?
Wes Value
Artist
Rule is rule, luda could bet 2600 in the first place, but he made a mistake, you can’t blame Wesley for not letting him correct his mistake. It is what it is.
How not to play top set
Wonder how sustainable his style is going to be over the next 2-6 months
If he doesn’t play when GMan is at the table he could definitely save a lot of money.
Hey All- I’ve seen some of the comments say that I threw my cards at Wesley and blamed Magic for the loss. I would never throw my cards at another player, they just happened to go a little passed the muck I guess. I’m also very close friends with Magic and that is a running joke that we have. I obviously know he has nothing to do with the outcome. I do regret acting like that after the hand and have no one to blame but myself for the way I played it. See you guys again soon. Happy Memorial Day
😭 😭 😭 Clown Tears
Dude is out to lunch with that assessment. Makes zero sense his theory. He put 1600 in, that’s what is it. Never seen it ruled different
I completely disagree with the comment about Weasley didn't let the action speak for itself. It has Nothing to do with poker etiquette. So when I meant to call but says...I raise...can I change my mind and take it back. It's ridiculous and dumb to say Wesley should let Ludi Chris
Should of re raised instead of calling flop
U learn from ur mistakes, and Luda missed one 1k chip right? So even more so people have to learn by their mistakes. Otherwise it could open up for angling.
And in this case it wouldnt matter, Wesley would never fold this pre anyway.
Luda misclicking is by his own definition his own mistake. You can't get upset cuz someone decided not to give you a pass. When Wesley does the same, I would say Luda has the same right to not give a pass also. This is poker. Also, it wasn't heads up. You want 2 people to give you a pass for your error? I think not.
Jeremimimimimiiiiii
Why would you let someone raise you if he messed up? Especially with j10 ,That doesn’t make sense
I have been loving these series and especially the commentary. BUT, I feel you are negatively biased towards Wesley. I can't see the same typ of commentary be said if this was for example Garret or Andy calling the flop with 87. These sort of speculative flop calls with potential backdoor draws happen all the time, everybody does it. Now Wesley did it, got lucky and got max paid. It should all be fine. Also I believe Wesley is good for action and live poker overall. He is a character that lots of people enjoy to watch AND play against. Remember, he is not a pro, be nice.
Jeremy did that to himself. Then he complains like a teenager.
