The Caballus Series is a Syntacs Final Adventure in Ark Survival Evolved before making the switch over to ARK Survival Ascended later this year. In this series Syntac will tame, breed and mutate any creature he can get his hands on from the roster of mods such as Paleo ARK, ARK Additons and Animals of Atlas.

You were talking about the uncut footage, maybe make a second channel with uncut footage but with a lower resolution to speed up rendering
Maybe the roar looks better without the head swing, because it's gives the impression that the rex focusing it's anger toward you/1 target.

The 216 Alpha raptor was probably a Tek raptor that swapped to Alpha variant since its just a quick swap and Tek creatures are the only one that go over 180

Even tarbosaurus have that. Also from the paleo mod. They spawn exclusively is scorched like biomes. Fun fact, that stomp does full damage to a rock elementals.

Hi Syn, I think for the idea of the big uncut videos you could make a second channel. That way the main channel will maintain the high quality videos and not have people skipping through them and the second channel could just be a bunch of uncut footage

You don't actually need to breed the Paleo Rexes to get an Evolved Rex. You can find them in the wild, but they're an incredibly rare spawn but the Tarbosaurus is pretty much identical outside of the textures and is more common in the deserts.
And apart from being able to pick things up with it's jaws, it also has a stomp attack that gives it an amazing turning radius since it can turn on a dime with a short cooldown.
Its Stamina is also not as garbage like the normal Rex when it's sprinting. I've had multiple Evolved Rexes and can confirm they can even solo Gigas with minimal mutations as long as it has a decent saddle.
You've grown a whole 400k since I quit ark, now I've come back and I wanted to come back to my favourite PvE creator and I'm so happy for you man! The growth is insane! 2 mil ain't far away at all!

to know the melee state look at 2 180s you see
at 12:50 first 180 doing 95 damge
and at 22:30 that 180 doing 117 damge
so if you want better melee points you have to found rex that damge your griffn more than 117
That helps to know their melee stat before taming, but considering they get another 89 levels when tamed, you could end up with a lot higher melee if you're lucky. Basically it's always worth to tame a 180 even if the pre-tame stats don't seem impressive.

I wonder if you’ll tame a tarbosaurus or evolved rex when you eventually come across one syntac because they are rare and have unique abilities and next you should tame a paleo spino or acro next and maybe the paleo carcha eventually
He already alluded to they are going to breed for evolved rexes. Im sure if he found a 168+ he would but i doubt he would tame less when you can just breed them

Does anybody else get anxiety from how many times Syn gets hungry or dehydrated and how long it takes him to rectify it? lol
try and find the cave lions. they are insane!!! i’m playing on this map and got lucky and found some on the surface. they get a pride buff up to 8!!! roar buff and hit like trucks in a pack. males scale better per level. so have more males in your pride.
Biggest problem with ark that annoyed me the most, was finding an amazing blueprint and the crafting table would not hold enough to even craft it.....
Yup, the joy of finding a godlike blueprint only for it to be literally uncraftable. That's one of the main reasons I started using a stack mod and never looked back. Vanilla stack limits are stupid.
But....but...You could have 56 in speed for all your rexes ...and the colors 😁

The second 180 Rex had a higher base melee than the last one before tame, so probably didn’t miss out on much other than maybe health

what i use for hide farms is a theri and ovis since they give quite a lot of hide from them

To tame all prehistoric animals and even dinosaurs requires a lot of survival skills and experience.
Im sure someone already said this but the 216 was probably a tek raptor and it changed it to a regualar alpha raptor

You should definitely grind down saddles like the turtles, trikes, etc. I doubt you’ll tame any at all, so might aswell get the resources from it, even if it’s not a lot
Also, I wasn’t sure if you knew, but if you divebomb the ground with the griffin (at an angle) and press space after running, you can send yourself soooo far. Just be careful because you can actually kill the griffin sometimes 😅
