I wish my mom were that way. She was always very cold when I was growing up and it never did change. As an adult now with adult children of my own, I still don’t understand her and she isn’t someone that would even talk about anything related to feelings. Bless all of us moms who recognize and feel our children’s pain and remain open to helping all heal. ❤

There's no way that Kourtney can be emotionally secure in her marriage if that's true about Travis sleeping with Kim, which, given the nature of these people, I can totally believe it. I agree! I went 13 years in my first marriage bc of my ex-husband’s demons. His mom became a paraplegic when he was 8 months old from diving into shallow water, breaking her neck, and when he was 16 his dad died by suicide one day later after they had been in a physically threatening argument together. I bore the brunt physically, emotionally, mentally and verbally due to his hurt and anger while growing up. In his mind, I became the problem in our marriage. He came to resent and hate EVERYTHING about me…my taste in clothing, decor; jealous of my friends and mom. For years, I kept praying to God to show ME what I needed to do because I truly wanted it to work and my mom told me to start praying for a way OUT! I always felt that, even though he grew up in complete dysfunction, he needed a few GOOD spankings bc he had a lack of proper discipline while growing up. He became a BRAT, by default. Men like Scott and my ex don’t seem to learn things other than the hard way but even then they aren’t necessarily going to change for the better and, if they make an effort, it generally doesn’t last for long. It wasn’t until my ex lost me that he realized it wasn’t me but even then I refused to go back and waste more years of my life because his changes were ALWAYS short lived and I knew it. The great thing is that we never had kids. Having kids with a dysfunctional person is NEVER the answer. Generally, it fixes nothing and only complicates things more. It’s not fair to bring kids into such an equation! I’ve been remarried now for 25 years and have a 16 YO daughter. My ex remarried and his wife left and divorced him 5 years ago, after a miserable 5 years of marriage. As my mom says the old adage “A leopard doesn’t change its spots” and that is usually the case. I could always relate to Kourtney because she loved Scott and desperately wanted things to work out…to the point of having 3 kids with him. Eventually, you just get worn out and stop caring BUT it has to be when YOU are ready! Also, regardless of how hurt I was, I still didn’t want to hurt my ex. It’s such a confusing, desperate, helpless feeling that I wish on no one but at some point you have to start thinking about yourself and kids, if there are kids involved, which is what Kourtney did, but it took her YEARS to get fed up and she wasn’t even married to Scott. She could’ve more easily walked away a lot sooner but didn’t want to give up and can tell that it still pains her deeply.

I love Scott, he’s a funny and entertaining guy, but he’s got serious issues and forever ruined his chances at the happy life he so desperately wanted with Kourtney with his shenanigans. She gave him multiple chances and he dropped the ball every time bc he never believed Kourtney would truly move on, when Kourtney met Travis I was SO happy for her. It’s sad because Scott lost the greatest woman in the world for him because of his poor choices. I believe they are twin flames, but he refuses to put in the spiritual work and ascend for his family. Very heartbreaking, but I’m glad Kourtney chose to move on to a man who at least appears to treat her better. She deserves that! ❤

He never acted like he wanted them children. He made fun of Kourtney when she was pregnant with their third child. All she seems she wanted was big family and I’m glad she is happy now. I don’t understand how any man can cheat on their woman, especially one that is beautiful(not that it’s right if you’re not). Hope he knows now what he is missing out on, because she really loved him.
