British 6th Airborne in Normandy - The 51st Highland Divisions attack on Breville 11th June 1944.

On the morning of 11th of June 1944 the 5th Battalion of The Black Watch launched an ill-fated attack on the village of Breville from the Sunken lane opposite the Château St Come. The attack was an attempt to close the "Breville gap" between the Bois De Monts and Amfreville.
