Hi , At a correct time got the video looking for . Earlier using Bosch 8kg Drum broke and fixing cost is around 18k . So started looking for new one . Does LG or Samsung parts cheaper or IFB as it is an indian brand ? Thanks in advance .
I went with build quality, not AI and WiFi ones, BOSCH WGA2341SIN. Fully satisfied. Just keep it simple and avoid too much gadgets at home. Humble suggestion.
@@muteboygaming8475 Took 5 year full warranty. Don't have to pay a dime for 5 years. I hope that they don't need much spare part change than other brand that need often. Bosch is certainly way superior in build quality than all other plastic brands and so it's expected to be sturdy. LG is something other that I liked. Rest all are plastics and bank on AI and WiFi than the actual function of washing machine, that is washing.
Most companies cheat in inner drum volume. The same drum volume is used for any washing kg rated capacity within the same brand. Some even use the same capacity motor even though the rated kg capacity has doubled. The dry clothes capacity that the drum can hold never matches the rated kg capacity.
I have the LG 9kg washing machine with all the "Smart" features. If you are looking for smart features, the LG ThinQ is a bad choice. The app is horrible. The machine does not allow you to control it via the App unless you switch control to the app by pressing a button on the machine for 3 seconds. Following that, you can change settings on the app but the buttons on the machine wont work. This process needs to be repeated every time the machine is turned ON. Also, You cannot turn on the machine via the app. The app is badly implemented too. I've tried the Samsung Smart Things at a friend's. It is definitely better thought out and easier to use in comparison.
Thanks for your review I'm going to suggest LG washer to my sister but for app control I'll go with Samsung it's actually easier to use. I already own a Samsung washer and the SmartThings app is really robust. I'm surprised when I found that the SmartThings app can connect and control hue lights from it.
Thanks. I got Samsung 8KG ecobubble machine for Rs 24500 from Amazon on great Indian Sale. terrific deal. Exchanged an old dubba 7kg whirlpool top load machine for around Rs 4500 + SBI card discount. That was an amazing deal for this machine.
@@prophet7008 Wifi machine. Its good one. I have LG Direct Drive machine also. AI in LG is not good. Not consistent and useful. Samsung AI also prettty decent.
@sunilchandran4u Must've gotten into first week of festival sales. Grabbed a great deal. I got an lg 9kg of lg thinq in exchange of my old ifb 8kg front load for an exchange of 4200rs less 100 for pickup. Got it for 25450/-. Samsung was 26790/- after everything. Samsung must be miles ahead in ai as they've years of experience into smart home appliances via smartthings. Auto detergent dispenser for samsung is also an edge over lg. Let's see how my purchase works after getting delivered. I have good luck with lg appliances as they've lasted longer than a decade for me. still using refrigerator and acs after 12 years of usage. Samsung is new into washing machines but they're picking up the market by storm. No wonder as they provide quality and tech. Marketing campaigns are too good too.
I think top load is better than front load. I used both and found front load needs more care like you have to clean it's rubber else they will stick to your clothes and cleaning inner side of it is not easy task because of this I don't like front losx washing machine
I feel the same frm always as all other channels says Thin….Q….app but it’s really “Think” just replaced with ‘Q’ for TRADEMARKING! & there special word of feature!😅
@subhodeepbiswas8199 outer drum is sealed so after 5 or 6 years when spider handle gest damages you have no option but to change entire drum which cost more than half the price of new machine other brands have bolt and gasket so spider can be changed easily just under 6k rupees

true regular program is more than sufficient AI is for smart features via wifi to connect to alexa and google for convenience of machine use function from remote location. or connecting to IOT devices....a washer dryer is now getting popular in india....abroad they have washer and dryer separate not as a single unit... and the most premium washing machine in india is siemens and ofcourse MIELE.....a german brand.....nice work....👍
Thank you! I use a washer dryer too and find it very useful. Washer dryers are gaining some popularity here too, but not that much. many people are concerned with the time it takes for the wash and dry program together.
@@TheGrapevineIndia I didn't buy washer/dryer due to this reason only. Bought an LG 11kg washing machine and a 9kg heat pump dryer a few days back. Didn't know Samsung washing machine was better than LG's otherwise would have got that. A question for you is why is Samsung heat pump dryer not available now? It used to be there a couple of years back i think.
@@TheGrapevineIndia Ma'am!!, yes I remember, you are using Samsung Washer + Dryer right? open the back cover , You will find DD Motor in a Samsung too. Open the top cover, You will see the heater and blower fan, that will prove my statements.
In Samsung AI models, they use Direct Drive motor, for Hygiene Steam they use belt-driven BLDC Motor. Pretty much all use Direct Drive motors, only a few low end models use belt drive.
Samsung also uses belt drive in its AI models because direct drive is a patented technology of LG. IFB, Bosch, and Samsung use belt drive in their washing machines.
@@sanalsebastian7 IFB is using direct drive motor in their washer with inbuilt dryer, Samsung also uses direct drive in few AI models. Direct Drive is a patented name of LG, but unless other companies doesn't copy the exact design, it's fine. All companies are moving to direct drive technologies slowly. To really understand that, You need to visit service centers like I do, ask them questions, ask them to show the internals of various models. You will be surprised and shocked at the same time. All the best!! Oh and sharp was the first one to introduce this technology in the USA in the 90's itself. They called it smart drive.
neither IFB nor Samsung use direct drive in their machines. All Samsung AI EcoBubble models are belt-driven. Can you tell me which Samsung model uses direct drive? If there's one, please share the model number.
I have both LG Direct drive and Samsung eco bubble machine. One problem with LG is its AI is not good. Not useful. Alexa/google integration is painful. These days commands stopped working. So if you want to have a smooth AI experience, go for Samsung. LG is superior in other departments. But AI is very bad.
Another fantastic video. Thank you for covering so many aspects of the washing machine that otherwise please would have missed. I used to do my own research before buying anything but now I just check your videos and make my decision. Your videos are extremely thorough. I very much appreciate the countless hours you put in to make such a detailed video. Rooting for you, always.

Any specific reason not to include IFB in the list of recommendations? Thanks!
All A.I features are all hype. Washing machine which is robust mechanically is better than so called A.I features
