Hey there! Vitamin c def should not be mixed with acids. I'd use your vitamin c cleanser in the morning and more gentle cleanser in the evening if using anything with Glycolic acid, lactic acid etc. Hope this helps! Thanks for commenting ♥️
@@TheMiriamMorales Thank you! I’m not sure if you’re familiar with Youth to the people (Superfood Cleanser) but it contains vitamin C in it. So I’ve been searching for an exfoliate that doesn’t have acid in it so I could use the cleanser but also to avoid wrecking my skin. Any ideas by chance?

Hmmm...I think most would have an acid, at least lactic or salicylic. The Dermalogica Microfoliant does contain salicylic but is super gentle. Check out Paula's Choice the Unscrub
I've been using the PTR peel pads for a few years now and I love it. I've been trying to find something cheaper but I've been afraid to end up buying something that just doesn't work as well because most pads are expensive regardless. There's a Strivectin one that's 7 dollars less that seems interesting, but again. Still expensive, and it might not work as well. Everyone talks about the Paula's choice but no one talks about the PTR peel pads 🤷🏻♀️ I use it once a week and leave it on for one hour. I use a retinoid at night and moisturize significantly so for me it works better to leave it on longer with no drying or negative effect. Also quick tip...when you rinse it off... don't let your skin dry. Put your moisturizer on while you skin is still wet. Best advice I've ever received from a dermatologist. That way your moisturizer absorbs deeper and there's no transepidermal water loss.
I completely understand, I'm the same way! I recently picked up the TULA acne pads so I'll be testing those out and will do a review. I've been wanting to try the ones from Dennis Gross but they're so expensive! 😫 And thanks for the moisturizer tip! When I'm using a water-based one I don't like how it feel when I apply it when my face is still wet. But I'll try it again, maybe I'll like it this time. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! ❤️
Well - the Peter Thomas Roth one definitely sounds more interesting / effective to me. I mean the price is pretty expensive (for my low budget haha) but I have been trying more expensive products for my skin and hair lately and it definitely makes a difference. So I might try them😊
@@TheMiriamMorales So for my hair I have tried the Kérastase Resistance hair mask and the Kérastase Resistance blow-dry care - have you heard of that? I can recommend that - especially the mask (and it smells good haha) For my skin La Roche Posay - but not for my face, only the one for your body and it’s REALLY good and recommendable - at least in my opinion🥰
I was thinking these are pricey but realistically these could last like 2-3 months right? Because you don’t use them every day at first? So that’s like $.50 cents a day on your skin care. I convinced myself lol
😂😂😂 I love how you think girl!! I'm the same. yea, bc you don't use them as much, they last longer. I finished my Urban Skin pads way sooner than the PTR ones. In fact, I still had some of the PTR left but I got rid of them bc it reached 1 year. But def worth your coins!!! LMK how you like them!
Thank you for this awesome video. I have been eyeing the PTR for quite a while to sloth off dead skin build up caused by my tretinoin. Might just go grab these!
@@TheMiriamMorales i wanted to update you and thank you for the recommendation again- I’m absolutely loving it! I only use it twice a week and I can already tell a difference in just how glowy and fresh my skin looks (in a good way!) Can’t wait to watch more of your videos 💛
I am 39+ dry skin fine lines dull uneven tanned skin.. Which one should I go with.. And after these which cream i will use.. Pl say.. Love your explanation 🤗
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! I'd recommend the PTR, followed by serums, and as for moisturizer, I personally live PCA Skin ReBalance. I also love CeraVe's SkinRenewing Night Cream, says night but I use it during the daytime as well. Hope this helps!
Hello, have you found a different dupe for PTR other than urban skin? Just got introduced to peel pads and trying to get different options( age 24 with sensitive skin)
Hi! Thanks so much for witching. No, I have not found a decent dupe for PTR. And I honestly wouldn't even say the Urban Skin pads are a "dupe" per say. The hunt continues! Trust that when I find one, I definitely share!
I'm getting anxiety for how many of these types of pads are on the market. I'm currently using the First Aid Beauty pads because I got them in my Ipsy glam bag. Can I alternate them with these PTR pads every other night?
It can be a lot! I have yet to try the pads from First Aid, almost bought them recently too. Everyone's skin is different so I recommend starting with the PTR once a week and see how your skin behaves. Slowly increase weekly usage if your skin can tolerate it. But personally, I think once or twice a week with PTR is good! Lmk how it goes for you!
I'd check in with your derm to confirm. But, I'm on a low % of tret, and I started slow by cycling them into my routine before using them the same night.
Which exfoliating pad will you be trying?
If I’m using a vitamin c facial cleanser can I still use the two? I just don’t want to mix the wrong ingredients

I may just splurge on the PTR pads . I love exfoliating. Takes your skin to another level.
You're worth the splurge! Thanks for watching ❤️

Yes! I've heard of both brands but have yet to try either one. I'll have to give that mask a try.

I was able get the PTR pads on sale. I haven’t tried them yet
Excited for you to try them! Hope you like the pads as much as I do!
Even brand new the urban skin rx pads were kinda dry i was like omg this sucks

Is this safe to use on the same night has tretinoin?

Skin Rx even tone soap exfoliating
OK, but which of the 2 pads would you go for?
Skin rx fire sure
Really!? I'm surprised you'd say that!
