I live in Berlin, Germany. Unfortunately it seems that the more conservative bishops kept very quiet. The voting was pretty decisive.

I am a German cahtholic and one of those who today finds, that a lot of "my" bishops as shephards turn out to be wolves. In Germany we really have some sort of schism already, since it's not just the bishops and cardinals (which would be bad enough) but also - according to my observations - at least a lot if not the most priests und lay people. So I ask you: Pray for the church in Germany and Europe

Friends - do not despair. The Catholic Church in Germany - let's call it the Confessing Underground Church - is alive, well and growing. Ok. We are still less than 5% of the population and 15% of the Catholics. But we are there. I am lucky enough to be on the founding team of a 24/7 Adoration Center of Divine Mercy in the center of Berlin. Non-stop prayer. Sometimes 24 hours in force. Public rosary in 800 places every Wednesday. 10s of thousand of people praying in public. We are not beaten and lost - because Christ promised us. Let's buckle up. The tax-driven Woke-Church will fall in the next 10 years. Let's ignore them, let them take 90% of the buildings. Ok. But it WILL die - and many will come to the real church and back to Christ. HE IS RISEN - HE IS TRULY RISEN!!

Also, having attractions or body dysmorphia is not a sin, it was what you do with it that is. Even if I was wrong, that is not a sign. Scripture says that even if an angel appeared to you and told you something contrary to the Gospel that you should not listen to them. The Devil can just as easily appear to one of us and tell us genocide is moral, but that doesn't make it true. God bless.

When I went to RCIA and asked the priest why divorced families were excommunicated he said “they aren’t. The only way to be excommunicated from the catholic church is to be clergy who knowingly preaches false doctrine.” Why isn’t there a call to excommunicate these heretics?
As far as I'm aware -- open to correction -- divorce in and of itself is not an excommunication offence. It's commencing a relationship with another person which constitutes the sin of adultery. But "knowingly preaching false doctrine" is certainly not the only thing you can be excommunicated for. Just off the top of my head, failing to attend confession for more than a year is an automatic excommunication.

I think that is because there is so much moral corruption in the church hierarchy that there's probably a push internally to keep that from happening. Also maybe the Pope is concerned that this would divide Catholics and bring a lot of negative attention from the secular world. Not that that's an excuse but from an outsider's perspective that's what the reasons appear to be.
Some more extreme people would say is because the Pope isn't a real pope which further creates division so I would say steer clear from those discussions. As lay people we should put pressure on the bishops to call out evil within the church and those who preach false doctrine.

I am a parent of a daughter who ‘married another Catholic woman’ and this type of dissent from our catechism causes so many problems. Shame on our church leadership and let’s not forget that many of these men are probably not living up to their call of chastity.
I’m a parent of a son living the same way. The hurt it has caused is tremendous. We are faithful Catholics who affirm the love we have for our son but will not accept this relationship ever. Our church has not taught the truth loudly and people in the world can’t even hear the truth. We are members of Encourage and in a prayer group nightly now for 6 years. They have been our support . I’ll never stop praying for our lost son. How I miss him.

Many cardinals, bishops and priests and a pope are leading millions of souls into hell by either not proclaiming the true teaching of the Catholic Church or by not rebuking those in error or by remaining silent on this issue. 2. Not all our Bishops are for this agenda. The Bishops of the more rural South-East Germany (Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer of Regensburg or Bishop Stefan Oster of Passau near the Austrian border) are very popular, conservative and very Pro-Life :)
3. What many don´t want to hear: The biggest influence on urban "German culture" comes from the USA and it´s left-wing secular propaganda machine. Every time when some weird new trend starts in the USA, you only have to wait a few months before it shows up in cities like Berlin, Cologne or Munich. So the question is not: "What´s wrong with the Germans?" but "What´s wrong with Hollywood?". In a culutral way Germany (especially the urban mainstream) is still occupied.
So, make the US-Mainstream more conservative and the German lapdog will stop with this stuff.

Homosexuals can acquire all of those goods and make for no worse parents than heterosexuals. You don't reason from biological facts to teleological goods but the other way around. The Church's teaching is false according to their own natural law theory.

That is great to hear. Please consider praying and taking action boldly to stop this. Organize a small team of people to take actions that will inform and encourage other Catholics to stand up against LGBT at every parish on specific dates you choose.
Also, Come up with a prayer that goes against LGBT and all other threats to the Church. Have the parishioners pray this prayer out loud after Mass. This is one of the fastest ways to get the message across strongly because, as you know, God is the one that does all of the work. Ask for Mother Mary's intercession as well.

Many who are fine with LGBTQ are doing so because they are trying to support their family members and friends. We are all sinners so many are sympathetic to the people with these sins. The difference is that sinners are redeemed because they are working on repentance. There is a difference between loving sinners and suddenly deciding that their sin is no longer a sin. She’s lgbtq and Christian. She told me When she was questioning her sexuality and crying she prayed to god to give her a sign that being lgbtq wasn’t a sin. It is really surprising that so many people have taken this turn of thought and belief. It seems anti-love, hence anti-christ. The Church of Scotland's stance seems utterly bizarre. Would John Knox have tolerated it? Beyond me. With my being a bit of an out-and-out introvert I had the idea that I'd maybe fit in better as a protestant but that went out the window when I heard about these things, points of view. Christ is telling us clearly that sins exist and to repent of them. There wouldn't be much to repent from if these Bishops lay claim to the idea of homosexuality not being sinful.

If we are allowing Homosexuality today; or at a minimum "looking the other way" about it., then why are we even having this discussion about it being legitimized by the Church? I have lost friends because of my hard stance against it. Today it seems that I am alone on this issue. I see Gays at the workplace as almost celebrity status with the workers. Even in like a warehouse type workplace male or female. It's perplexing to me.

As an evangelical Anglican, I will uphold you the faithful to Christ.
I was a lifelong Anglican and converted 12 years ago. Thanks for the prayers and we are praying for your faith as well. The Anglican Communion has been rocked by modernism and leniency toward homosexuality and same-sex unions. That’s the reason I left. In short, I got tired of trying to explain to my kids the decisions of the Anglican leadership and clergy. I drew a line in the sand and have never looked back.
I feel so bad for Pope Benedict XVI. He was fighting with forces within the church that are corrosive to our faith.
