I'm 23, a grown man and yet when i heard the first notes of obstacles, i started to tear up reminiscing the first time i got to play Life is Strange. Back in the day, i was dealing with a lot of problems and anxiety and this game made me feel better and its soundtrack just lifted my mood everytime. I remember stressing our for an interview and then listening to Somerhing Good on repeat until i felt better and got that job
i never understood people that actually like this game. the game's gameplay and story is just bad and chloe shouldve never been added. the soundtrack is so good and the game couldve been so good without chloe...

After all these years of game exists, I'm here again even if I firstly played it in 2021. Actually, feelin' awful about I played the game that late and hadn't done it earlier, maybe in year 2016 or 2017.
I'm 16 (almost 17) now, and "Life Is Strange" really changed me, it showed me *what* is life and how u should face it and obstacles it brings. The game letted me see *what* is true love.
I often return to this peace of art replaying it or reading fanfiction. And the one thing I know exactly - this game will never leave my heart.
I'm 17, first played this back in 2017 or 2018 (cant remember exactly when) I was 12. Your not late by any means. It has no set expiration date. Its a game that stuck with me the most out of the 5 that did, it remains one that I remember the most. I can only say positive things about it anything negative is hard to word that's how you know it was one to remember, (Incase you were curious what other games stuck with me they are, Detroit Become Human, The Walking Dead: The Telltale series, Far Cry 5 and finally Fallout 4). Iv also played Life is Strange 2, BTS. Haven't played True Colors due to other games taking up the roster so that's the only one I haven't played and hey we'll call it even, I'm late to playing True colors and your late to playing Life is Strange 1 so that's how you know you'll never forget it.

And I believe, that you didn't come to it too late. Just like a good movie (American Beauty) or a book (Dune) or a play (Tempest *wink wink*) It won't age. I can see children in schools fifty years from now learning about this instant classic

Crosses was my favorite song in the game. I think because it was early in the game and I was really falling in love with the vibe of it all. Just casually perusing her dorm room admiring the details and listening to that, then I picked up the guitar and she started playing along to the song...I was blown away. That was when I knew I was playing something really special.
obstacles always evokes this feeling of nostalgia that no other song has been able to do for me and it always makes me tear up because it reminds me of my innocence and youth from the "we played hide and seek in waterfalls" which always makes me want to bawl my eyes out :'(
Man, what an emotional playlist. Not because of the sad songs, but the amount of memories I have attached to this game at the time of playing it during its 2015 release. Can't help but feel life was a little easier at that time, a lot of my happiest events seemingly happened around that time too.

The LIS universe is so well crafted that it seems like a documentary and that Arcadia Bay really exists!

Many people don't actually know about this game, it is underrated but to be honest I want things to remain this way only, this game should remain as underrated. Many people don't deserve this masterpiece. Life sure is strange.

Yea, I also have that song connected with most moments, but still most emotional for me is Foals' Spanish Sahara, which aint even in this mix, since it was waaay to sad, no one needs to cry while doing homework

i just finished this game the other day. starting my second play through. this game is amazing and the music really drives home the feels. one of a few games to make me tear up.
Not many people know about this game, but the ones who know, can really identify with this game. That is what makes it so special, its finally something we can all relate to in this world of loneliness..
Very emotional journey, and trying to even replay it, or go back to it can be extremely difficult if you're trying not to get emotional.

2 mins in, I have to keep reminding myself that all the characters are fine and no one is dead just to try and get through this amazing playlist.

It's been 7 years, so much has happened yet i always come back to this series. It's comforting and it reminds me of times when everything was peaceful and i had no care in the world besides how the game was about to end. This is one of my favourite games along with beyond two souls, Until Dawn and the Last Guardian, I've listened to all the soundtrack play throughs built this is by far the best it helps me concentrate on a lot of things and it's calming. And I love the snow effect, it also relates back to the game. Love It. =)

I love this game so much. I discovered it when I was a little girl. Now I’m a teenager and I still watch videos about it. It brings me so many memories and a lot of nostalgia. It’s just a very detailed and emotional game. Every time I go to school I imagine myself being a girl with powers of time and I imagine living in Arcadia bay. The vibes,the aesthetic,the music,everything about the game makes it so magical and powerful. Life is strange is such an amazing game.

I fell in love with Amanda Palmer before I even played LiS. It makes me happy that they used one of her songs in the soundtrack.
I can't help it but cry every time I listen to those songs, that game was such a masterpiece. Somehow it connected to my life, to all my memories, this game just gave me so many chills and emotions I will never get from any other game ever. I sacrificed Chloe because she had to die, she was meant to die, it was the destiny... I know how hard it is to lose a friend especially your childhood friend, your best friend I relate way too much, but in the end knowing your friend is not suffering anymore is all they could ask for. This is how you show you love them, they will fade away with the last memory of you showing the love the compassion they deserved, you being there is the best possible outcome of a friendship in a lifetime one can possible have even though life for them was short it didn't matter, you were THERE FOR THEM.
To explain why I said this game , this story relates so much to my life is that I also lost a very good friend in a car accident it was one of the most heartbreaking moments I've ever experienced in my life, knowing this person is not there anymore. However all the time we spent together all the memories we had will always be in my mind, I will never forget this person, never ever. The most important thing I did and that's what the game wanted to make people emotional and thoughtful about is that I was there for my friend as much as I could before they were gone forever, just like how Max was there for Chloe. However Max didn't actually hang out with Chloe too much before, she left her and that's why she was given the power to reverse time to see the future and have all those memories with Chloe, without those powers she will never know to appreciate how wonderful Life is with a good friend. It's a very powerful message, appreciate the ones around you people, you never know when they will be gone forever, it will be hard to understand why it had to happen when they are not there anymore, it's very hard trust me.
