Let me tell you something cool about this pickups: The ESP ALH-200 are almost the same that EMG 81 but sounds more like Dragonfire C81, wich one I describe as a "open sound", really great to play chords and shred too, of course, but I mean that doens't have too much compression like EMG but even that, sounds great if you know how to set you amplifier
The only thing the 81s don't do well is cleans, they are too squeezed. It works very well for some arpegiated chords in stereo with a little delay and chorus, but it doesn't like being played like say a Strat. Even my buddy's Classic Vibe 50s Squier sounds better clean. No contest with the gain turned up though.
Looks like mine, I have a 93 bolt on KH-2 which has had the relic treatment done from 25 years of playing and gigging it. Mine has an almost ebony looking board, super dark tight grain, one of the darkest rosewood boards I've ever seen, especially on a glossy jet black guitar, where it really shows.
Its number 2032 which from what I have figured out is #32 or #33 out the door as I believe they started at #2000 or #2001. With original 81s and no battery door. AWESOME guitar with a phenomenal neck...that is need of a crowning at the very least...lol
I paid 5 bills for it in 1998 from a friend who was an IDIOT. Its found its forever home. Even my 2 buddies who work at and manage the local GC, say its a perfect example of ESPs quality, absolutely love it and its playability, and the store manager said "Don't ever sell this...but if you do call me". He got a EBMM JPXI BFR badged new old stock for a grand out the door. Last year of the 12th fret BFR logo SADLY. A gorgeous guitar.

That Floyd is like perfectly set up whoever did that did a good job did you do it your self or did it come like that if so good job i have some experience with a Floyd there a pain to set up

Didn't ESP do a limited run of the neck through version with ESP on the headstock? It would be alot better than this one as having EMG pickups.
