Edu Kumabe Anyway the karma is shit. If we are going to talk about karma, why not talk about how england won the 66' world cup with an non-existant goal, or how with the help of the referee they won the quarter-final game of that cup. Or how Germany won the 90' world cup with an non-existant penalty.
If karma is karma, then we should say England payed for what happened in the 66. Is nonsense. Games are games, and cups are cups, karma does not exist in football, is just unfair when a team wins cheating. That's all, football itself takes revenge and a team that lost before, can win after, as it happened in 2002 when we lost to england
2018 is our year man. (Although im from bangladesh, argentina runs in my blood) and under Messi's leadership we will conquer the world like Maradona did
Just four minutes after this play, the second goal dribbling past five English outfield players was later voted by FIFA as the greatest goal in the history of the World Cup.
@@dummybirb3148 - Before that he passed 6 English players. - It was while intercepting the pass from that other english player at 0:19 - The goalkeeper run with the intention to hit him, so instant karma. - Even without the hand, he was going to make it before the goalkeeper, that was just icing on the cake and even risking getting discovered when he could do it like that. - The english team was very dirty that time, so another instance of karma. And a few others that you can see in a few comments. Very well deserved goal for both teams.
Even today , after 34 years, I am amazed that no one blames the officials who let the goal stand, but blame Maradona! You want me to believe if Lineker had done it in the other end, he was going to tell the referee: I used my hand, don’t give it? Come on! This incident , this game, the second goal, all meant to happen, this way. I am not a huge fan of Maradona, but he was the best footballer we have seen in our lifetime. Adios Diego
Diego Maradona is surely the football genius, one of the (if not THE) best players ever (rivaled by Zidane imho). But that match Argentina should've lost. I'm the one who blames referees for BOTH Maradona's goals, first one is obvious hand -> yellow and no goal, second one - goal of the century - referee must have stopped the game, Sergio Batista fouled on Glenn Hoddle literally 2 seconds before Maradona got the ball. It was not Maradona's fault that he was trying to win by all means, but referee's gross mistakes. Also Maradona wasn't the man of fair play, 4 years later USSR-Argentina he purposely blocked the shot with his hand, unnoticed again by referee. Remember Suarez's save by hand? Definitely not a fair play moment. BTW when Klose scored by hand (noticed by everyone but referee) he himself asked to call off the goal, of course not in WorldCup but still.
1) He was offside and 2) he scored with hand -- and still Argentina went on winning the world cup ...Wow! Some people are ''badass'' & still people love them -- Legend Maradona
Maradonna was onside, the last touch on the ball came from an English midfielder, Steve Hodge. Argentinian forward, Jorge Valdano, was near trying to seize the word but he did not touch it. In fact, that fact was what distracted the referee and the line-man; they were mentally processing the non-off-side and could not detect the handball! When the protest came, they were thinking that the Perfid Albion was trying to deceive them with false off-side claims
What NO ONE seems to be talking about is the superb anticipation by Deigo! The ball was a back pass by England Defender to Goalie. But Deigo rushed in twds the Goalie, anticipating the same. And the way he used the Hand Of God in tandem with his head (not only timing the punch, but more importantly, not taking a big swing, to avoid detection) is the streetsmart shrewdness, that is more genius than fair!!
@@carlosvacos Shut up, stvpld Spaniard, it makes you angry that there are no legends in your country. My country is known for the land of talent. Also you are not interested in what Maradona did in his private life

Alex Sky ikr, this guy has the balls to say messi is the reason why they lost 2018, but atleast he didn’t use his hand and played it fair. Messi was the onlg reason they got as far as they could
i think this is the best place to say that the only world cup england won was a big Joke, this was a one man cheat in the heat of the moment and Maradona could have received a red card for doing this, he made a huge risk and got away with it, but the amount if cheating needed for england to win the `66 world cup is unfathomable, specially that no-goal at the final.
It's Aug 21, 2020. And I am still watching this goal. Is it that weird?..May be...It's a memory I will never forget, watched this live match [ staying up at night, back in India] on TV with my dad and couple others. And I was only 9 years old then. Maradona is my favorite soccer player of all time [ keeping his personal life separate]...That World Cup have a very special part in heart, may be because that's I was able to share those moments with my Dad. My love for Argentina started all because of Maradona. I guess creating memories are really important, specially if we can create those with the people with really matters in life...and then being able to cherish it is a gift I guess. Now me and my dad are in two different ends of the world......This pandemic is jogging lot of old memories.

And Argentina hasn't won the World Cup since..........karma
We have already payed... with a inexistant penalty in 1990 final and world cup 2014.
Now we come back to win :D
Luciano 23 years without a title. Yes, ofc you guys are coming back.
You know, if he didnt make that legendary second goal on this match, then this goal would be the best goal of all times.
how is whacking it into the goal with your hand and it being allowed because of a bad referee the best goal of all time
@@dummybirb3148
- Before that he passed 6 English players.
- It was while intercepting the pass from that other english player at 0:19
- The goalkeeper run with the intention to hit him, so instant karma.

Mate mabe because when the ball came the England gk ran out to punch it away then maradona ran in and handed it into the goal watch the video again 😁
After the game, Maradona described it as "a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God" and the name stuck.

i think this is the best place to say that the only world cup england won was a big Joke, this was a one man cheat in the heat of the moment and Maradona could have received a red card for doing this, he made a huge risk and got away with it, but the amount if cheating needed for england to win the `66 world cup is unfathomable, specially that no-goal at the final.
