As a Finnish person I would also get Korean food over Nordic at that price. - I'm glad that the popularity of Korean cuisine has reached even my regular neighborhood convenience store. You can now get gochujang paste there!

Here in the US (speaking for Wisconsin and Illinois), I thought the IKEA food is very reasonable priced when compared to other places. The US is overall very expensive though, so our threshold is much higher.

That's hot 🔥 I went to IKEA years ago in Melbourne 👍 but, stunning news for next year: IKEA is coming here to New Zealand in 2025 🇳🇿

I’ve never been to IKEA, but it seems to have a lot of nice things. I know sometimes shopping for things like furniture and be a bit overwhelming because there’s so many options! I hope you all saw things you liked! Have a nice weekend! ❤

They are more known for the meatballs. So much stuff to see there. On thing I like is that they have some sofa's the cushions & backs can be rotated and flipped (no wearing or dents from common sat zones), also easy to wash and switch covers. Some good finds on kitchen, storage organizers, some interesting table lamps to bedding covers.

Are there resell shops in Korea for furniture or on line markets for used furniture? Older pieces are more likely to be solid wood..it can be refinished if needed and will serve you for years vs. the IKEA fake chipboard products. But yes, visits to IKEA are always fun.

Yes there are resell shops here in Korea. I've never been to one though

I loved Season 2 Squid Game. The pace was steady and methodical so I suspected a part 2. Gong Yoo was fantastic in episode 1 - I think thoroughly enjoyed playing the part of recruiter. Acting (no surprise) was excellent, good storytelling, good pacing. Hope you enjoyed.

There is an IKEA near my home. We love going to walk around and get design ideas. Most of our purchases are organization cupboards. We also like the dishes and kitchen area.

You should always get the meatballs at IKEA! That is what they are known for.

I love IKEA. But here in Vancouver, I wait until after the checkout to eat because you can buy $1 hot dogs/veggie dogs and coffee just before you exit. It's an excellent deal. I hope they have the same in Korea. Also, check out the lighting section. Here they have lamps shaped like owls, and clouds. It's so great. I hope you found some good items to consider for your new home.
Thanks for mini Squid Game live!😄

So funny to see that IKEA on the other side of the world is the same. We went yesterday and we always end up buying more than we planned. It's quite impressive if you've managed to leave IKEA without buying anything.😅

A trip to Ikea is usually 4-5 hours event 😂I thought the Ikea food was over priced for what you wanted to try out . For the Canadian price you both could have had a 2 full plates of Salmon, rice & veggies, or 2 meatball plates and a dessert. On the plus side your dinner looked delicious.

As a swede I'd also rather have the korean food! I'm surprised it was so expensive because IKEA at least used to have food at a good price.

I, personally, think Ikea's merchandise is over priced for the quality that you get. But to each his own. Happy furniture shopping.

So did y’all like Squid games season 2??? I thought it was good. Some people didn’t like it. I really liked the trans character Cho Hyun-ju (played by Park Sung-hoon). I was rooting for her. The only thing I didn’t like the ending…I was like what we have to wait 😂😂
