After 20 cruises, you learn as you go. I always pack my "pharmacy "! I pack stomach medicine, tums, cold medication, Tylenol, ibuprofen, rash creams, etc. I have found the onboard shops do not have what I need most often. Also, FYI norovirus is not killed with hand sanitizer. Only washing it off with soap and water gets it off. Also all the ships have people at the doors to the buffets and restaurants strong arm you into using their purell on the way in. It always baffles my mind when people walk by without sanitizing.

Washie...Washie....hand washing is the best defense...keeping the kids hands washed too... ...having a few things in a SMALL first aid kit..a band-aid...modiam A D...try to not touch your eyes ...and remember ...those green apples 🍏 on the buffet help if your tummy gets upset.....hope you enjoy your cruise....
When I went on royal. They had hand washing stations before going into the buffet/dining and had someone standing by the doors forcing people to wash their hands. I liked that.

If you order a bottle of wine with dinner and can't finish it, ask your waiter to cork it and save it for you for another night. (I learned these and the reasons they work on Arack ship tips website )

My husband and I, some of his family, went on a W Caribbean cruise in 2003 on Royal Caribbean and it was a wonderful first cruise. Your video is wonderful. Gary and I took the Dunn’s River Falls excursion, and when it was over, we bought t-shirts that said “We survived Dunn’s River Falls”. Really recommend Dunn’s River Falls!
Not all cruises are tropical - Alaska, New England to Canada, Northern Europe, etc - necessitating warmer clothes and heavier shoes. Anybody have tips on packing, from hiking to formal nights?
If you're planning on visiting anywhere fairly religious or with famous cathedrals (i.e. Spain) then try to bring clothes that cover your knees and shoulders to be respectful.

No one has a steamer. Always the downy wrinkle release but not The mini travel steamer. Works exceptionally well & takes up very little room.
