Another use for the gallon zip lock bags ( not the ones that you press close). Put one in your safe in the room and when you put things into the safe they go right into the Gallon bag and when its time to pack to go home ,you dont have to worry about leaving anything behind.

I've never had an issue with a stinky cabin bathroom. Simply flush the vacuum toilet a couple of times and you'll suck a lot of room air down the toilet. Also, do a "courtesy flush" - reach behind you and flush the toilet after each 'deposit', eliminating the source of the stink. No, you won't hurt yourself. Even if your butt made an airtight seal over the seat, there's still a gap between the seat and the rim for air flow.

We always pack an assortment of magnets, note that the weight they can hold is for when they are hung from the ceiling (on walks they hold about 1/3rd of the weight. ) If our luggage is over weight when packing to disembark we leave the magnets on the walls for the next cruisers.

Love these ideas - I’d probably go to Dollar Tree first for many of them: night light, tea lights, motion sickness meds, ziploc bags, and even their B4 Toilet Drops. I think they had the phone dry bag also. Also a 3-way plug adapter. Also the refillable travel bottles. The towel clips are a great idea; I’d probably get the smaller spring-loaded plastic clips from Harbor Freight.

If you take a number of medications and/or supplements a pill organizer is great. Not the daily ones, but one with varying sizes of sections and 2 sized. If it did nothing then you’re not using it correctly. Make sure to use enough and to smooth the fabric as you’re using it. You can also mist the fabric with straight up water first and you’ll get more mileage from the wrinkle release spray. Be sure to hang the garment after spraying so it can continue to release wrinkles as it dries, and leave enough time for it to dry as it will be damp after spraying. It’s not quite as good as ironing or steaming, but it makes a huge difference in most fabric types.

    • @kerrychabot
