Giles is a singer/songwriter from London, England who has always had a passion for space flight. Since his early years he’s been looking skyward and though he ended up wielding a guitar for a living, space exploration is alway on his mind and one of his most popular songs is about astronaut Gene Cernan, ‘The Last Man On The Moon’.
In 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, Giles visited all of the crewed space vehicles flown by NASA from Freedom 7 to the Space Shuttle Orbiters.

9/10 for expert credentials
10/10 for topical relevance
1/10 for depth substance
We disagree with your analysis there. We were looking for a beginners guide, and that's exactly what he gave us. Our podcast is trying to be accessible for all people no matter what their level of expertise. For Brandon to cater to those people as well as he did in this interview is not an easy thing to do.
Also there was plenty of in depth substance without it needing much more.
It's not difficult to land on the moon we did it the first time we tried LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Who's we?

@@eddiekulp1241 the first time you tried? have you looked up the Pioneer, Ranger and Surveyor missions that took place before Apollo?
Man this guy should be an astronaut 😉
I was thinking exactly the same!
No atmosphere. No propulsion.
it's as easy as that is it?
@@spaceandthings yep. Try swimming in the air.
