5:20 that little bird house was my favorite
Those blue and white gifts were so lovely 💙🤍💙 How thoughtful!
I’m so glad you picked up the tray!! My research shows cfh as Charles Field Haviland and that mark would indicate the piece is from late 1800’s. I’m no expert, that’s just what the internet says. Bibles for Missions the best in our area here in Michigan too! Great finds!
Sweet! Thanks for the info!
Havilland is usually Limoge too, so fancy frenchware ooh lala.
I use Goodwill china for my skeet shooting practice session. I can pick off a teapot at 400 yards...
I love your cross-stitch journal. So creative!! So fun that they gave you a tour of behind the scenes.
I love that you cross stitch. I did it for 35 years
I love your cross-stitch journal! What a clever idea. Also, that rectangular tray is gorgeous, especially how you’ve styled it. Thanks, Nicole. 😊
I have been really happy with it!
I really enjoy your craft-flips. You're so creative. And I think combining your channels is a great idea!
I actually like the light it makes the whole video sharper somehow and you look fine.
Another great video, and some awesome finds. Your journal is very clever, I like journaling. have a great week
I loved the rooster heart and the lemonpitcher I spotted
I would love a pare of clear candleholders.
I loved the shellike litle bowl
I always go watch the lamps and plates to.
Love my Bavaria and Villeroy and Boch plates
I bought some seeds today. Spring is itching for shure!
Thank you for sharing your trips with us
Grate blue and white gifts
Beautyfull rectangular plate
Perfect on your table
I used to cross stitch a lot, Gave a lot to my mother in law, she loved them
I never ever find hankies, would love some would display them in a pipeholder
Thank you for sharing X
Hi Nicole. You picked up some beautiful item's. 😍 Goodwill where I shop is changing and not for the better. They have no books now. Discount cards have been stopped. It's not fun anymore. Cheap figurines which are usually broken. Pots and pans that should be thrown away. They are not usable. Clothing has raised in price. But they still ask people if they want to round up. Nah I don't think so. Lovely watching your video. I had Covid as well. Felt more like the flu but rapid covid test said otherwise. So glad you are better. Love the cross stitch journal. 💙 The Garden Book is awesome 👌
I like the floral arrangement in the thermos!!!
Thanks! I love using my services in my decor! Thank you for watching 💕
The cross stitch journal would work really good for me with my crochet
It totally would! And then, if you give things away as gifts, you’ll always have a record of them!
Looks like Hardanger on the handkerchief. Very nice haul. I was at Bibles for Missions last Wednesday & picked up a few things. (Also donated ) :)
Hello sweetie!!! You are beautiful with or with out lights..Praise God blessings ❤😊
Thank you so much 🤗
The mirrored tray is beautiful. Love it. The Goodwill thrift stores in my area are ridiculous. They seem to be getting worse with their prices instead of better. I used to go there several times a week but hardly ever go there now and when I do, I come out with nothing.
I used to have have the Warren Kimble barn plates. They decorated the spare bedroom in our old house.
PS Excited about the hankies...i LOVE them.
I use to live in Bird Island. Really enjoy watching you videos. I love thrifting too. I now live in Michigan.
Fun thrift and finds Nicole! 👍💕💜
I love Halls and restaurant ware! Sadly all my close goodwill stores have mostly clothes.
The rectangle tray looks very old. Early 1900’s maybe. Pretty.
Loved your cross stitch journal!! Much morefun than buying one from an LNS !! More economical too. !!!
Truth!
Wow! So happy to hear you have family in Kettering! I’m in Centerville which adjoins Kettering. Love your creativity!
Do you eat Marion's pizza? It's our FAVORITE!
The Tupperware pitcher is from the 70s. Probably worth some money.
How nice…those Delft pieces are beautiful! Fun looking with you and seeing all your treasures! Have a great week! 🦋😉💙
Thank you! You as well!
What a wonderful gift! Such wonderful people. LOVE the round mirrored tray.. also, the green teapot is perfect for that tray 💜
Hello I'm in Texas and our Goodwill's have been taken over by the main office. They now go through all the clothes, price them, then distribute what they don't want for the main store to the other stores. I'm pretty sure they do the same with most of the home goods as well. Needless to say the stores have been lacking inventory because of that and when they do have inventory it isn't all that great. I have noticed that their new website has plenty of inventory and priced like eBay and Poshmark. Go figure.
I love your cross stitch journal!
I love vintage handkerchiefs. Years ago I sewed some together for a small bathroom window…so sweet. And I have an antique glass topped coffee table with them displayed under the glass…
I love the tray. Perfect.
I'll have to go look for that first video!!!! Happy 4th anniversary!
It was sooooo bad 😂
I think that hankie is called Hardanger embroidery.
You rectangle (porcelain?) tray was so pretty, as well as your family heirloom cup, saucers and teapot display. Much better than being tucked away in a cupboard. Cool cross-stitch journal. Looked like a neat thrift store (Legacy), good prices and some very kind people running it.
The last two times I visited Goodwill I walked out without a thing. Prices are still high here in Southern Oregon. Because I don't need the inventory right now I am not motivated to pay more for average Cost of Goods. But then, you never know what you might find! Treasure hunt!
With the egg cup you can make a pin cushion out of it.
That’s an adorable idea!
Love the delft! I have that oval mirror, and I love it.
Everything you picked up in the stores with the beautiful vintage roses.... Be still my heart. I love that kind of stuff!!
Hey Nicole, your journal is cute! The Delft is pretty too. I'm trying some embroidery stuff...it looks okay, perfect but it is homemade!! TFS. 😊❤👍🪡🧵
The prices are awesome!
I’m so glad you picked up that China tray. I love the little display on your coffee table. It gives me ideas. I’m viewing your video on my brand new 10 .9 inch IPad. One of my sons gave it to me for my birthday
That’s awesome! Enjoy that!
I love looking at the plates, too, especially florals. Now you’ll have two St. Paddy’s mugs! I loved the blue pie plate. My mom made tea in a pitcher like that. It was bigger and you could hardly lift it out of the fridge! So many temptations! Such nice gifts for you!
CFH = Charles Field Haviland. Highly sought after pieces that hold great value. Most of his pieces are actually antique but looking at that one, I would lean more towards vintage. However, I do think that, that beautiful piece you picked up is pretty valuable 😊❤
Great to know! Thanks for the info!
I didn’t even know that Better Homes and Garden had a gardening book 🙄
You always find the best stuff ❣️
It’s a great book mostly for the covers and then the pictures inside. Plus I love the vintage fonts!
That was so nice of them to give you a tour of the back room. What beautiful gifts, loved all of them. Fun video Nicole, thanks for sharing. ✨✨✨. Loved the tray, so pretty ❤
Love your cross stitch journal 💙. That's a nice book to look back on. I kept one with quilts I've created over the years. So nice of the shop to gift you the blue/white dishes. I loved the 2 crows pepper container at Goodwill. Would have picked that up for Halloween.
I love how you executed this video “thoughts while thrifting” it was fun to watch and listen to what you were thinking with each piece you picked up!
I’m glad! Thanks for mentioning! Someone recently told me that I’m boring ha ha. So I’m trying to be less boring. 😂😂😂
Our prices in Alabama at Goodwill are so high it’s ridiculous!! Yours has good prices, I used to go at least 3 x a week not so much anymore!! Be glad you have some better ones where you are. Thanks for sharing I love ❤️ your channel and you find some great items.
Wonderful finds Nicole. The platter for your table is gorgeous. I love the way you have displayed yours and your family’s wedding china. Thanks so much for sharing
i was just at some thrift stores today and I also look at the dishes I even bought some for Easter that I am hosting for my family....The china I bought was half off so it was a good find.
Sweet!
Cute stuff
Nice haul. I thought the table that looked like a tray table at one of those stores was a pretty useful looking table. Have a blessed day.
The hankie looks like drawn thread embroidery.
Yes our Bible Missions is changing too, to the new name.
The blue and white pitcher that you showed is exactly like the one I have that belonged to my Great Aunt. Nice to see it.
Such a creative idea to use the vintage thermos as a vase😀. And your stitching journal is so FUN! I bet you love paging through it whenever you start or finish a piece of cross stitch. I hope you have a fabulous week and that some of your snow will start to slowly melt.
Nice journal idea! Glad you felt good enough to begin it! You have a keen eye for your home decode and I absolutely loved your use of the rectangular platter! The green metal tea cup and saucer holder was gorgeous and the nostalgic cups and saucers were PERFECT displayed on it!! Hope all’s well!! ☺️👏🎉
Such a great selection of treasures!! I lovelovelove the mirrored gilt dresser tray! My MIL left me her dresser set from the 50s/60s - big tray, mirror, jewelry caskets, perfume bottles, tissue cover - the whole deal - and I love looking for pieces to add to it. And I love how you styled the rectangular ceramic tray - it’s pretty perfect.❤ Thanks for sharing your cross stitch journal - such a good idea, and one I might have to borrow now that I’m stitching again.
Hi Nicole, I love the idea of your cross stitch journal, although I don’t cross stitch, I do crochet and wish I had done a journal like that back in the 80’s and 90’s when I made lots of gifts and sold some things, it would be great to look back at all of that now…alas, I do not do much crocheting anymore.
Love everything
Hi! Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed!
Kettering oh! Small world! Retired in 2014! Last gig social worker in Kettering schools! And yes daisy barrel. Fairborn! ❤
Love the dining table. I always try then end up throughing groceries and laundry on top.😮
I enjoyed your video today! The tray was an awesome fine! Your cross stitch journal is a great idea. The Stitches N Things shop that you have in your journal is closing the end of March. They will be missed.
Aw bummer!
Your delft gifts are lovely and nice finds
You’ve inspired me to start cross stitching again! I love the journal idea. You sure did pick up some cute stuff and I always like your displays.
Yay! Do it! It’s a good way for me to keep my mind busy on something other than scrolling on my phone lol!
My mother always called that type of work on the hankie, pulled work.
Great video. Loved your hauls. And your gifts are great.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am soooo in love with the cfh tray! I love that you are going to use it where you can see it every day❤️
I love it!
Nicole, you said your mother-in-law is from Kettering, Ohio and that is the same area where I live in Vandalia, Ohio. Kettering Hospital is very popular here and I go there every other week to see my doctor. Small world isn’t it!
Wow that is wild!
I love the blue and white pieces you were gifted and also the rectangular tray you purchased! The prices at my Goodwill are still rather high but a large Volunteers of America store opened recently and their prices are much more reasonable.
You have to be carefulof aged Tupperware because the plastic begins to disintegrate and puts out a distinct plastic odor which permeates the contents. They will not upgrade for you if this happens; however, they cannot be of use as intended.
Hi Nicole, I think the hankie with four corners is called pulled thread .
Could be wrong. Fun finds !
I think you can say COVID now 😂 No one will arrest you 👍. Love the journal! You should do junk journaling, I bet you’d be really great at it! 😄👍
What a nice gift from the thrift store, loved your hall
I love to look at dishes too excited to see what you find
Yes Nicole, would love to win that book, been looking for it for years.😊
16:50 Love the blue and white items! 🤩
To be honest I don’t know if I’ve been in Goodwill this year. I really do hope the prices have come down. Ours had gotten to the point that some pieces would literally make me lol We really didn’t have winter this year and I’m bummed. I’m a winter girl. Love the mirrored tray. I’m almost positive that my great aunt who passed away last summer had one on her dresser. Love how you put the collection together. The cross stitch journal is great. I miss cross stitching but I have an eye condition that makes tiny things like that impossible. Happy Channel Anniversary! My first video was so bad lol 😂 Have a great week.
Love the handkerchiefs ❤
Loved the milk glass!
I think the rectangular pottery piece with the loop handle would be ideal for serving sliced block snack cheeses.
That’s a great idea!
In my area in Virginia, goodwill prices are getting higher.
Lots of us out here in the wild do not mind chipped or cracked items for decor. Ambiance. We were not wealthyas l grew up and vintage items which hold precious memory reminders.
Our price here in the Houston area are way high!
Hi Nicole, I love your videos. You are so down to earth. The beautiful tray that you found is a Charles Field Haviland Limoge tray from France. It's highly collectible! I hope you keep it, but if you do decide to put it in your shop, do a little research to have the correct price on it.
Thank you! I’m definitely keeping it for a while!
The prices for our goodwills vary by county. In my county, prices are a bit ridiculous but the county to my west, the prices are great! I love that goodwill.
Nice! I hope you get to head to the other county often!
@@NicoleNorthgarden You and the other a few other thrifters have inspired my friend and I to do a once a month thrifting day. Some days we are gone from sun up to sun down. Lol
Thanks for sharing.
Maybe the dish you thousand a butter dish is a spoon rest etc.
I had the apple pie and strawberry plate when I was first married in 84
Sweet!
Great haul
Your prices are still super low compared to where I live
I loved the milk glads
Good to know!
I would have bought the pie plates and the red barn decor from bible mission thrift store
I always enjoy your videos.
I believe that hanky you weren’t sure of the stitching is a design called hardanger embroidery I have several pieces that my maternal grandmother made and my mom told me that is what it is called.
Thank you for the feedback :) and for the info 👍🏽
I LOVE your dining room table! I have often thought about this, what made you move from NJ ALLLLL the way to Minnesota?
Chris got a job here! It’s sooooo far! And coooold lol!
@@NicoleNorthgarden ohhhh ok gotcha. I wouldn’t mind moving up that way, I don’t mind the cold and I LOVE snow!!!! This year we didn’t get ANY!!! Only one time a couple of flakes came down but other then that nothing 😞
Hi Nicole ❤
I’ve been looking for that Better Homes and Garden book forever now
I was so surprised to find it! My other two were gifts :)
I went to the bibles for Mission thift store by me and scored.they really do know the antiques portion prices not so good for us.
There just aren’t any free lunches at the Goodwill now. The days of .59, .69, .99, and 1.99 are far in the rear view mirror. There aren’t anymore $19.99 oil changes either. A trip to the Veterinarian the other day for an 8 year old Lab was $450.00! The heart worm shot now costs $250.00. Buckle up folks, it ain’t over yet. Peace and spend your nickels wisely. Take a walk while it is still free. LOL.
!I've the tray.
Drawn thread...hanky hand work namd.
I Need that book your doing for the giveaway I’ll pay u for it New to your Channel today!
