I have received many acts of kindness through the years. In addition, I have shown acts also. But the sweetest one I remember receiving was when I was at the grocery store. The card reader went down, so they were only taking cash. I had no cash, and was getting ready to put it all back. When two young men stepped up and paid for my groceries. The one act that I remember giving , happened with my daughter. We were coming home, and we saw some road worker's working. It was raining and snowing mix coming down. She suggested we go buy some hot chocolate and bring it to the workers. Never let a chance to show kindness pass you by, because you may be the answer to someone's prayers. ✨️ ❤️
I enjoy helping my 91-year aunt with taking her to dollar tree monthly. She really enjoys the outing, and it brings me joy.
Whitney, I always love your crafts and talent! I love everything that you created today! My random act of kindness was buying an on-duty police officer lunch. They work so hard to protect us and it’s just something to give back. He really appreciated it.
Love each of the projects, especially the tiered tray. My random act of kindness is that I regularly take both personal and food donations to a local thrift store and food bank instead of Goodwill. Families who are needy can come in and get both food and clothing coupons to use at the thrift store. That way I know my donations are going directly to local families.
*Random act of kindness* in honor of my mom, (we just lost her in October) she always remembered the elderly. She would say (as far back as I can remember) "they seem to be forgotten around the holidays" so she would buy and wrap little things to take to them every Christmas! So to keep her love towards the elderly we do this to keep her alive in our hearts and pass on the love to the the elderly!
We have a big group that go to the center of the elderly and give our time of visiting with the residents, sing Christmas carols as we walk through the Halls and take a small gift to each resident.
Best Christmas gift is the smiles from the residents.

I think it's so important to always thank any veteran I see for their service. We are so fortunate to live in a country kept safe by our armed forces and soften take that for granted.
It amazes me how you can take the random items from the mystery box and turn them into beautiful decor! I was Black Friday shopping and a lady was with her granddaughter in the toy section. There was a display full of playing cards at the of end of the aisle and she accidentally knocked it over and they went everywhere…several people walked passed her as she was trying to pick them up all while trying to keep her eye on her granddaughter…I stopped and helped her get them back in the display…we all need a helping hand every once in awhile!
I LOL’d twice, the thermos cardstock mishap and the star mirror 😅😅 Anyway, they’re all cute and I love the lantern!

I love watching all of you who participate in the mystery box challenges each time! That’s originally how I started to watch you was one of the challenges when Courtney first started them! I think you are great and I love your upbeat, happy, positive and sometimes silly attitude! Random acts of kindness are the best because there are so so many people who are in need. I try to help when I can, like the other day I was actually in the Dollar Tree and the grandma with her granddaughter in front of me didn’t have enough money to pay for her mostly food items, so I paid for it for her. It just feels wonderful to help when it’s genuinely needed! I also try to help our four legged fur babies who get left behind. A random cat was dropped off in my neighborhood by someone and just left to fend for himself. We have been taking care of this poor guy for over a month and FINALLY have found him a home he will be going to tomorrow! So happy and mostly relieved! Thanks for asking us to share! Hope you and your family have a great holiday!
I try to do random acts of kindness all year. From helping a person at the grocery store, inviting my favorite cashier at CVS that doesn't have family to supper, and even stocking my churches blessings box with items that food stamps can not buy (toothpaste, feminine care, etc.), and gifting people with things that make me think of them. I love all the items you crafted! So beautiful.
I can’t believe how you came up with a solution for the slinky 🤯 amazing job. I actually performed a little random act of kindness last night. I helped a lady at church with a project and in the course of conversation saw she was in need of some things. Fed her dinner and gave her some supplies from my pantry. Always feels good when you can fill a need😊

Giving several families fresh picked fruit- Satsuma, grapefruit and lemons 🍋. It's so rewarding to give. As a child, I would do so with the church and now doing this with family trees that have over abundance of fruit. This is a tradition- random act of kindness!
My mom loves cardinals for the same reason, love this! I’m crafting with you as I do my mad dash for Sunday lol. As the wife of someone who has needed blood transfusions multiple times - thank you. ❤ My not-so-random act is every year I do a mini coat/cold weather clothing drive. Just got back from Walmart and a sweet grandpa was trying to get a big Christmas toy into his car, obviously for a little girl. I told him you pull and I'll push and we got it in. Sometimes it's just the little things that help. Also, you did a lovely act of kindness for Kelly by sending those special little extras. I know she needs some extra cheer right now. I honestly don't do very much as far as random acts of kindness, but when I'm out I always make eye contact and smile at strangers. Sometimes I brag on a stranger's outfit or hair (they probably think I'm crazy) but I do it anyway. You and your crafty friends do some awesome work! Thank you

I try and remind myself daily all throughout the year that spreading kindness on a daily basis is more important today than ever before because our world is just overwhelming some days. Just a smile and hello to a stranger, opening a door for another or just being available is so important today. My random act of kindness was picking out a family in need for Christmas and providing Christmas gifts for the kids and Christmas dinner for the family. We do this every year for a family in need and throughout the year I enjoy random acts of kindness by paying for someone's food in the drive-thru, paying for someone's gas, helping our elderly neighbors, helping families with clothes, toys and household items and so on. It's pure joy doing random acts of kindness and try to spread love to as many people as we can. Awesome diys, the gingerbread houses and the snowmen bells were my favorites. I love these mystery box challenges, and yours is always a favorite! I love the tier tray and the cardinal star mirror. Oh heck! I love them all! The random acts of kindness are such lovely ways to honor Courtney's mother, but also to truly remind ourselves what it's like to be human. My Mom has been gone for 5 years and her favorite charity was the St. Labre Indian School in MT. I started supporting the school when Mom came to live with me after Dad died 10 years ago. Even though times have been hard and I've had many health issues, I have done what I can for those beautiful Native American children who have nothing and are truly the forgotten ones in this country. It's my privilege to do what I can in honor of my dear mother. Thank you Whitney, and Courtney, for being so inspiring!

Loved all of these! Love what you did with the slinky. A random act of kindness, our next-door neighbor is in the last stages of emphysema. He lost his wife a couple of years ago so he's by himself. At Thanksgiving, we took dinner to him with enough to have leftovers. We stay in touch so whatever he needs we are there for him.
Random act of kindness....This is something I do EVERYDAY! Every time I go out to any store or place I always do something kind for someone or multiple people. Return a buggy for them, help put items in there car or buggy, hold doors for people, always smiling and telling people hello or to have a nice day and always saying thank you. This is something BIG for me. I ALWAYS try my best to be the person I would want someone to be to me. So for me, random acts of kindness is always part of my day and always will be. ❤️

Random acts of kindness this week… Working in the medical field with elderly patients allows for all kind of opportunity. Last week was merely taking time to reassure an adult child and offer suggestions of next steps when her elderly father made a wrong turn when we sent him to the ER and ended up lost for four hours. his daughter was aware he was being sent and he refused to wait for someone to take him. Second random act of kindness was the simple pay it forward in the coffee line drive-through. I have been the recipient of this random act two times and it really brought a smile to my face. Such a simple and inexpensive effort!

I want to thank YOU Whitney. I just came back from the little gas station up the street. There was a lady that you could tell was having a hard time with life in general. I’m sure she was homeless. I usually keep to myself now days. But something made me want to listen. She asked the clerk for a piece of pizza and was told she couldn’t do that. I saw her get a handful of change out and start to count it. I asked her if I can buy a piece for her and she was so grateful.
When I looked at her, she looked around my age. It really opens your eyes. Sometimes we can take for granted what we have and others don’t-like a roof over our head.
So not only did that small act of kindness make a difference in my heart…but I’m going to find where I can help the homeless in our community.

A group of us at work are involved with the Salvation Army Angel Tree charity, which is for less fortunate children. This is our 2nd year to get a child items from their wish list and also items needed for Christmas.
It is so humbling, yet a heart-warming feeling to help these children!❤

I do random acts of kindness all year.... When in a sandwich shop or a fast food. I purchase for someone who comes in after me. It always warms my heart.
I am 71 and a quilter. We hold our meetings where there is a senior center that serves lunch. I love to help prepare and distribute these lunches. Because of the pandemic the seniors could not meet but were able to drive by for us to hand them a warm lunch. It is wonderful to know they can still look forward to these meals.

I am a 3rd grade teacher. My students and I are celebrating kindness for The 12 Days of Christmas. Each day we are spreading kindness around our school. The kiddos are LOVING this!!
I love the random act of kindness challenge. I'm constantly looking for ways to show kindness I love ppl and I love listening to their stories. I work in a store and I love talking to my customers. I actually had a customer 2 days ago thank me for always being kind to him. Kindness is free and we should all show kindness to one another. A customer was short of cash when she came through my lane so I paid the difference for her. I've done that several times for ppl. Although I never ask them to pay me back, I've actually told them not to worry about it but they've all done so.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and remember showing kindness to fellow human beings is free and very rewarding.

I love the idea of Random Act of Kindness. This year my daughters and I did two Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack events. I loved it because my 8 and 5 yr old got to participate making meal packs for starving children around the world while having fun and teaching them to give our time to others.
Thank you for all the wonderful DIY ideas from random products. I decided as a random act of kindness to ask a senior citizen to go with me to a holiday event/craft fair. She’s going thru a difficult time now and I wanted to interject holiday joy for a few hours of her day.
Every year my craft club donates hats, gloves and scarves to Opportunities Unlimited. It's an organization that helps adults with disabilities.

Random act of kindness…. This older lady was putting her groceries in her car, it was very windy that day. Her grocery cart took off across the parking lot. I ran and caught it just before it hit a vehicle in the parking lot. We both laughed, I finished loading her groceries in her car. And we laughed some more. I haven’t ran into the little ole since that happened. Hope she is doing well. I enjoy watching these mysterious box openings, and what you guys come up with, with what you have. Super cute! Love the little gingerbread houses. You always make beautiful decor. I’m loving that lantern and tier tray . They are awesome!
Whitney, my Dad was a big blood donator too! Over 36 years I think he donated like 40 gallons of blood. I really enjoy your channel and always like the mystery box challenges too! Thank you for all you do on this channel. You always inspire me so so much!🎄⛄️❤️😺. My husband and I have been known topay for someone’s dinner when we go out on occasion. We have adopted 5 children and during the year to pay give away a new crib set up to a soon to be Mom from a charity that we have been involved with since we became foster parents. We don’t let anyone know. We are notified by the them on who needs it. We like to keep this to ourselves.
I always try to do a random act of kindness. Whether it's paying for the car behind in drive thru or just holding a door for someone with a smile on my face. Talking to someone in line at the store or just giving of your time for someone else.
I love your channel and I am a subscriber to most of the crafters on this playlist. My random act of kindness is, I am making and giving one ornament each day to my mother in law who has dementia. I am her primary caregiver. My husband and I are the only family here, the others are all out of state. She usually puts up a tree with very few ornaments. So we want to make a great memory with her while she is here and recognizes us.. she is 89 and such a strong person. She has had to bury 2 of her children and come out the other side. Such an inspiration. She is tiny but very mighty! ❤❤

You are extremely talented and lived all your projects. I am a firm believer in random acts of kindness, not just during the holidays, but year round. I just donated 7 cases of Fancy Feast cat food to my local shelter for those pets who have no one to love them.

I try to always show acts of kindness, it truly does make the world a better place. To see a smile on someone else’s face, makes my heart do backflips! Recently, I was waiting in line at the grocery store and the older gentleman in front of me trying to pay, his card kept declining. So, I simply asked the cashier to just put the $50 of items on my bill. The cashier and the older gentleman could not believe I was offering but, when they realized I was being serious, the elderly man turned around and gave me a huge hug along with several thank you’s! I’m not sure if he was more appreciative of the groceries or something as simple as the hug, either way, we should always remember that it’s the small things! We never know what someone may be going through, a simple smile and how are you today, may be the only thing they need! Many blessings to you sweet friend. I was downtown Chicago on a cold fall day when we walked past a homeless couple,they sat shivering on the street corner, we chatted a minute and walked on. As we were waiting for the light to change God put it in my heart to give her my jacket .... I was obedient to what God was telling me and handed her my coat. She cried and asked if she could hug me...I said of course....she said this was the first time anyone hugged her in in a long time...we talked a little while and prayed with the couple, right there on a busy Chicago street corner... They were both so appreciative especially for the prayer....I will never forget Shaun and Teresa....
Now you might think my act of kindness was giving my jacket up on a cold Chicago day but it wasn't...my act of kindness was greater than that, I gave them the gift of prayer, that in turn gave them the gift of hope....
I give God the glory. God spoke to my heart on that cold fall day and told me to go back....so like I said to God goes the praise and the glory.

My random act of kindness, I love to help the ones that needing a little help no matter what it is. Their kids needing food or clothes. Or someone is goin through a rough time and is needing some help getting up and going. I will always love to help in anyway that will make someone smile or let them know that there is always someone who is welling to help the next person when needed
Every year I take my kids to the mall and let them each pick an angel off of the angel tree. Then I let them pick out gifts for the kid they choose. It's the highlight of our Christmas season! We all have so much fun doing it.
My random act of kindness is a homeless man was sitting at a store with his dog and holding a sign and I went in the store and bought a pizza and a coke and when I gave it to him he thanked me. I sat there for a min as I always do when I see someone homeless and said a little prayer and as I ended my prayer I looked up and he was giving his dog some pizza also and i lost it. That led me to know I did the right thing. I try and do this anytime I see someone in this situation. Thanks for your amazing talent that you share with us. My random act of kindness is: I made my friend an ornament as a keep sake for his grandma who passed away. I wish more people would do random acts of kindness every day! It would have such a big impact in this world! ❤️
Love your ideas!!! Kindness is so needed all over this world. My act of kindness was yesterday when my grandson and I went to I-HOP. As we were walking in there was an elderly lady coming out so I reached for the door to open and hold it for her. She looked at me said do you need for me to hold the door for you. I told her no I was holding it for her. She seen a compression sleeve on my arm for my lymphedema (swelling in my arm) and thought I was hurt and needed help. So this ended up being two acts of kindness ❤❤
I always do random acts of kindness it makes me feel so good to help. So with that said, I plan to help any that i am able to. I LOVE to do it. Infact it is so weird , I often look for people that need help to help I like it so much. You are such a sweetheart . Kelly really was touched by your gifts and box. Love these!!!! Love the mystery box challenge. You never disappoint 😊 my random act of kindness is, my neighbor who is 62 year old women. She lost her husband to Covid and unfortunately just broke all her bones in her leg. She had no one here to help her. Even though I only really knew her from talking a little bit in the mornings I felt compelled to help. I made she was able to get to all of her appointments. That she was able to get around to the bathroom. It was a lot but I pray that if something like that ever happened to my mom or loved one, someone would step in and help. We are super close now 😊
My daughter and I pulled an angel from the angel tree this year and completed her wish list. I love teaching my daughter to give back since we have so much to be thankful for.

My random act of kindness: i am doggie sitting (no charge) for a couple that is going to Vegas( their first time there AND don't have opportunities to take vacations). Great ideas as always! I love the random acts of kindness idea! What a great way to celebrate a loved one, by sharing the love! My random act of kindness is holding the door for people. It sounds simple but it is always appreciated and easy to do every day.
That lantern turned out great and it was so super easy! Our random act of kindness (my husband and I) made a donation to a charity that Lawrence O'Donnell has to buy desks for the children in Malawi. They get so thrilled to have desks and not sit on a dirt floor.
Random acts of kindness... my neighbor is also a single mom, her son was doing a school project. He mentioned that he didn't have the stuff he wanted for the project. I opened up my craft room and he picked everything he needed. I have been in my neighbors situation and have been blessed by others and knew this is what I needed to do. Merry Christmas ⛄🎄
Random acts of kindness and scattering joy is my thing all year long! Right now I'm putting together a big gift basket for a 7 year old girl in need for Christmas. I'm always aware of people around me and help out when I can. I also love to share my pup. So many people get joy out of petting her. It's the little things that can cause a domino effect. I love random acts of kindness when my children were little we cleaned out the toy box every weekend after thanksgiving and donated and they have kept that tradition up with my grandkids. My granddaughter who will be 3 in Jan made some simple holiday tags and handed them out yesterday at our local library. I so want her to learning giving makes a happy heart. .
I always make a gift bag for the elderly couple across the street of goodies. They love the my cookies. The smiles melt my heart ❤️
I love your random acts of kindness! Giving blood is such a wonderful thing to do. I always gave until meds prevented me from giving. It also reminded me of my granddaddy who always donated. He gave during the time when they used to pay for blood but wouldn't take any money for his donations. He just didn't feel right about taking money for something that cost h nothing and helped so many. It was also such a sweet thing you did for Kelly. Her family is having such a hard time right now and you could tell how much she appreciated what you did. So a big thank you for you loving heart.
I love that you gave blood! so kind. My random act of kindness this year was helping my kiddos bake sweets (cookies, brownies and fudge candies) for our local firefighters. They also make them cards and thank them for keeping us safe. I love that they care. They also get a kick out of seeing the firetrucks :). I love all of your creativity. Thank you!!

Great ideas. We do acts of kindness all year. We keep back packs filled with items & give them out to those who may need them.
My random act of kindness was helping a friend through the loss of a loved one. She is doing well and I am forever grateful I could help her
I always try to pay it forward . I actually took the time to show my vet how much she’s appreciated she’s been so amazing with my new puppy and helping me . I decided to treat her to her with a gift card to her favorite coffee shop. She was so surprised … a veterinarian is usually not thought of during the holidays .

I am that person who always lets others go in front when driving. This year I've decided to let every single person go no matter how inconvenient (or how mad the people behind me get 🤭🙈) for the entire month of December. I stopped to let an 18 wheeler turn into a DT the other day in a construction area where the line behind him showed he'd been there for a while. He in turn allowed 2 others to cross before he went. Let's spread as much kindness as possible 🥰

What a wonderful RAC Whitney! I’ve been wanting to donate blood quarterly in honor of my dad who left us too soon last year. He needed many transfusions, and that was all thanks to people like you who donate often. As always I love all your DIY’s, because you’re my favorite craft buddy!! You always knock the mystery box challenge out of the park!!
Every year I wrap up socks, hats, gloves, cups and candy. Whenever I go through a drive thru or in a store and I see someone needs a little kindness I hand them my little gift. I also run my churches toy giveaway to any family that needs help. I giveaway around 400 plus toys.

I love your videos and your crafting style. I love the mystery box challenges a lot. That tiered tray was so amazing! I pay it forward every chance I get. I often do random acts of kindness on a regular basis. Recently a gentleman handed me folded up money and said every time he and his wife “do well”, they pass a little something on to a stranger. It was $60.00!!!! I was blown away! Then just today, an elderly lady came upon a small group of ppl searching through a clearance bin. She commented she never finds the deals others find, she’s always too late and they’re picked over. We talked about inflation and how everything is so expensive right now. She mentioned she’s on a fixed income anyway and only had $40 to make it through the month. I decided to give her the $60 I recently received. She was in tears and so grateful! It made me feel good to bless someone in need. Those are the random acts of kindness I love to perform … it helps someone out AND warms MY heart!😊

My act of kindness was towards my brother and his wife! Their furbaby had to do an emergency operation and it cost a ton of money so I gave them money towards that operation and then I bought my sister in law a ton of lawn christmas decorations to put in the front lawn so it can put a smile on her face for the holidays!!
I was able to help a little more this year than I usually do with Sub for Santa. It brings so much joy when the parents come to pick up the gifts for their kids and they express their appreciation and gratitude. 🎄

Love the idea of random act of kindness. I live in a senior living apartment complex and many of the residents don’t drive so not only this time of year but all year I give rides to anyone who needs it. Some of the places I take them is physical therapy, grocery shopping, doctor appointments and recently someone needed a ride home from the hospital. Once a month I call BINGO and provide the main corse for dinner and other residents bring a dish to pass. These are fun evenings that bring us together as a small community. I enjoy cooking for a small group. Last night we had chicken and biscuits mashed potatoes green bean casserole corn casserole and cherry almond crisp it was wonderful. So thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity and your amazing act of kindness. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless. Linda

Random acts of kindness are so fun and inspiring! Mine is making small gifts for the ones that are struggling with loosing loved ones this year and also giving hygiene products to a special need residential home that is local.

Every year, my kiddos and I make and mail cards to a local nursing home. The residents are always so grateful to receive hand made cards from the kids. ❤

At a Christmas fair with my granddaughters, I helped a young mom with her hands full by walking her 2 little ones down the steps of a horse drawn trailer so they wouldn't fall.
