- This is one of the best golf courses I've ever played. It's exceptionally long with good hazards and well thought out OB. There are potentially 3 holes that aren't great, but the other 15 are spectacular. I'm super excited for this year's World Championships!

You and Ezra have a good dynamic together in these videos. I enjoy the way you dissect the courses and the game. Good luck to both of you guys. Definitely have become more of a fan of you guys after these last 2 vids from the both of you. Not because of anything just haven't really watched you guys much other than Jomez so seeing you guys out here has def made me a fan.

I really love all the extra knowledge we get with Aaron sharing his thoughts openly. Its a calculated and logical way of approaching the game. Even Ez will be asking Goose for his thoughts on a multitude of choices.
Who else thinks Aaron/Ezra has a good chance of winning worlds… this course is perfect for them

I'd say a fair chance. Paul Ricky Calvin Gannon Isaac would probably be my top 5 favorites in no particular order. I'd throw Goose and Ezra in that 6-10ish range with numerous other people (Ezra, AB, Kyle, Niklas etc) that definitely have a good chance if the cards fall in the right places.
@@Luffy-344100% agree on this take. Paul designed one of these courses. He also has said he really only wants to take world titles. Anything else is practice for this. Would be really surprised to see any other names at the top than what you said.

Love to hear your positivity about the courses. Ivy really seems well thought out for the most part, and I love the changes they've made from the first iteration last year. Your explanations about OB vs Hazard really sold me on it. Can't wait to watch ya'll shred it.

The optimism here is super refreshing. So often all you hear from these videos are complaints. Look at Gannon and Isaac. They were on a little 6 minute video and all they did was bitch the ENTIRE time. Great perspectives.

hearing ur ideas and perspectives is very stimulating. its easy for people to just accept what exists in this life. you have great input and i would suggest to u that its important for you to get to a place where u can have actual input and help make positive changes. there are only a certain amount of people gifted with deep perspective and great ideas. and fewer still in the place to do something about it. and fewer still who have the confidence and ability to push ideas forward. help the pro tour be better, goose!
@31:30, like you guys said, some people may go for the birdie on the tough par 4, but then you on the card, may have to push yourself for the eagle here to gain that stroke back. Could make for some interesting golf!

Love the use of hazard/DZ placement on this course! Definitely more unique to the pro tour courses.

For the first layout of this course, they seem to of done a fantastic job! Move the basket on 14 and make hole 6 no OB all hazard would be sweet. I'm really looking forward to seeing you pros compete on this for the World Championship.

You all do a great job. 2 cents on hole 17...If you throw a straight touch shot, it is a good hole. It seems like that isn't either one of your forte's and that is why you are saying it is a bad hole.

Hole 15 is my favorite on the course. Lots of people laid up hole 17 at battle for bedford last year. I'm very surprised they kept the green as it is on 14 considering the dangerous slope.
In theory on hole 11 someone could throw an OB drive that stays OB the entire flight. The tee sign doesn't say anything about that. Seems like they need to make a drop zone for people that never cross in bounds or tell people to re tee. Did they overlook that?
I feel like on a hole like that, where it’s easy to be inbounds at some point, doesn’t need a drop zone. If you do make that mistake then reteeing is a reasonable penalty.
Hole #17 they really should have removed a couple of branches from those maple trees...it would still be a very tight corridor to throw a straight shot thru...it would take pinpoint accuracy...but hey, it's the world championship's...
I played this course during a world's preview tournament last year, and let me tell you they are not lying about the elevation. Us spectators are getting our steps in fosho.

I like the idea of 14 but I do gotta agree that the slope of that green is way too steep especially considering that you guys were a decent bit a way throwing your 2nd shot. I did like the green on hole 6 at Tampere for the European open. Have sloped greens is going to be the future of disc golf(it’s just a matter of trying different slopes to figure out what’s actually realistic for pros)
I agree, especially when it’s different throughout the course. A variety of different greens makes for a well rounded course.

Ezra im sure you know but if you match the slope on half your downhill shots u dont have to guess how your disc flies and u will park every hole u went long on.
