Plus there were many reports of super hard spots mixed with super loose dirt making it even harder to push the bike in straight aways. Deegan did awesome for having his first event without his dad coaching him and preparing his gate especially with everything else included.
Deegan will be fine, his pro career will be good and he will make stacks. He is on the right team, he will win championships, it is nice to see a good class of young riders coming up this year.
Oh and I agree the key board warriors are tools, most do not even ride, I have been at it for over 40years, I have seen them to the point I do not even read them.

One of the reasons u have a good crop of more talent...is the stock modern 4 stroke can be put in the van an driven right to a national...an can get a holeshot an a very good finsh..80s an 90s the stock bike need the love of pro circuit or Tom Morgan to be rideable at a race track...i retired from12 years of MX ...an took me a couple months after to get my suspension like a works bike ..i rode 2 450s an 07 CRF an held it pinned for about 8 minutes straight an came back to my friend with an ear to ear grin...put its in the van an i will holeshot a national with it...the most impressive part of the modern bike is how well it hooks the rear tire the whole time on that 450 the front was never closer than a foot off the ground i didnt have to do any body movements to make it get traction....not like 10 or 20 years ago..
Ferry probably doesn’t have his conditioning up to par since his mini O’s injury back in November. Plus I’m sure that Yamaha he’s on isn’t as juiced as that star Yamaha and factory KTM that beat him. Get ferry back on a factory bike and better conditioning and who knows? But could’ve would’ve should’ve, right now it’s bennick and deegan in the B class

He only needed one lap I would say. Deegan knocked it down to half a second lead on the last lap after putting in a heater lap time of 1:53. He was right on Dax’s tail when they crossed the finish line.

He had 7 laps with only 6 seconds behind when he was in 3rd and Dax held that gap basically til the last lap and took the easy win. With the hype that Deegan gets he should’ve easily made up that 6 seconds with 7 laps. He’s a great rider but a little overhyped

I guarantee you he was well aware Deegan was coming in hot those last couple of laps and was not on cruise control.

These American kids are fast and have famous dads with unlimited financial and technical resources. I wish them the best. I prefer to root for kids like the Lawrence brothers who were broke with no money and had to give up everything to move and live in Europe apart from each other and train in Belgium snd Germany and live apart from their parents in shitty apartments on a budget. The gap was around 7 seconds for the entire moto. Dax was flying. Only over the last 2 laps dax eased off his lap times and rode in for the win.
