I read an article about the App problem. I'm one of those people that doesn't like to be around lots of people. So thanks for suffering through that experience for us. I went to Dick's lastnight and it was so full I just drove through the parkinglot and went to McDonald's instead.

I got part way through setting up that app before realizing the feeling of my time being stolen by something that didn't benefit me in the slightest. Thankfully I had someone with me that had that stuff setup already and gave them actual money. At least that Korean Torta seemed good.
CHEK & the Bite goofed up and ASSUMED cell towers would be fine. The Pokémon Go event last year had additional Hotspots & Charging stations to handle the Volume of On Line activity. That's how you do it.
You are amazing. Bite was amazing from 2010-2015. A lot of complaints about the app and less vendors since pandemic. Lots of memories there hope it rebounds next year. Cheers Dennis. Booom!

Ha, ha, that weekend stayed away from bite of Seattle ( cooked at a booth, at a previous one). My food highlites of that weekend- king oyster bahn mi, at q bakery, strawberry, green tea & lychee drink at Happy Lemon (5 min wait), hot & sour catfish soup at Rainer Barbecue, pak mor yuan at E-Jau & for the road, bahn cuon from than & son tofu & bakery. No pain, just yummy food
I think these vendors are 100% capable of handling ticket order and payment- these apps just want CONTOL < that’s all it’s about!

I don't think anyone expected what was going on at the 'Bite' with that crappy app they were making everyone use.
pretty simple to use and there are information booths if you are technically challenged

A lot of the problem had to do with a lot of people waiting with no clear instructions on what to do.
