That white blaze is why they spot you so fast in the woods white and black don't go good with camo in the woods.

1. Be in cover and unflankable/spotable.
2. Control a large area where you expect enemies to be or come.
3. Do not leave this area.
How did Amish die? He left cover and was outgunned. I know that this strategy is camping, but it is the best tactic by all metrics, even in RL.
Totally agree. I think theres even a moment when I'm sniping a ghillie and I say "I'm playing his game, I need to make him play mine". If I had stayed in town I might have lasted longer
Theres a fine line between Camping and playing tactically. Sitting in a room pointing a shotgun at the door is camping. Staying in a house, listening for shots, and pushing when you hear those shots is a bit different.

I'd advice using DayZ Vanilla Launcher. SA works fine but it also allows paid advertising of servers. I've heard of servers that don't pay not popping up sometimes

I just bought my wife her first one for around that price. It has decent specs and it runs DayZ just fine. It's a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop its not the best but for just starting out it will work. I would suggest upgrading the RAM to 16Gb and it also has a GTX 1650 SUPER

For those calling hacking at the end I actually know the guy who killed me at the end and he's no hacker, just an amazing shot. DayZ has weird things sometimes where grass doesn't render in from certain distances so I think it looked like I had a hill in front of me, but was actually grass that didn't render for him
Yeah, I was a little suspicious of that dude running around snapping long range shots at ya. But I’ve also seen you and some others pull off some insanely accurate shots too, so. Bummer tho.

Basically I have VOIP, discord PTT, range up, range down, eye zoom, hold breath, emote wheel, and nvg/head torch toggle bound to my thumb buttons on my corsair scimitar
