- Full details on how to replace Mercedes Benz GL 450 Fuel pump. I have another video that shows how to replace the fuel filter.
Before I worked on the vehicle I made sure that the fuel tank was on E... so I didn't have to deal with a lot of fuel in the tank.

rear seat but under right or left side, Drivers side or passengers side, sorry unclear.
The fuel pump is under rear seat right side (behind the passenger seat).

To be short and specific, my best advice to you is to go to a Mercedes Benz dealership part department and provide them your vehicle VIN last 8 digits and ask them for the coolant temperature sensor and if they can give you a print out / schematic of the sensor location.
how did you diag the problem????or you just guessing that was the problem?
I smelled gasoline when I was outside of the vehicle consequently discovered there was a leak.
That manhole cover in the floor doesn't exist on my 2012 GL550.

How did you know the pump was bad?
Actually, I changed the fuel filter because it was leaking. however, the pump was nearby... so, I decided to make a video to show people how I removed the pump.
@@TakeActionDIY mine keeps stalling while driving and won’t start for hours or days.
@@ralphtaylor787 Turn the key to on position and leave it on for 5 seconds then try to start the vehicle. If it starts with no problem... the pump may be weak and/or the fuel filter may be too dirty.

Womp u should have removed it and show how to replace is.
😆 my mistake. What you have to do... is to disconnect the connector from the pump. Take the pump out and replace it with the new one and just reverse the removal steps.
