Are the mods vital to the gameplay? (Left 4 Dead 2)

hey man, what are the mods that you are using? (specialy that one that xspaceout was using in the beginning of the video), i'm trying to get back into playing l4d2 again with new mods

I don’t know which ones xspaceout was using, but I personally like the Kikyo Tech Suits. The Baymax Medkit and cat gun are fun also. I’d also stay away from any of the flashlight mods, they make the flashlight useless.
