If they would restore empty buildings for people that need a home maybe there wouldn't be such a bad homeless situation. Idc who you vote for , none of the politicians give a hoot about the needy people. They need to leave natural resources alone . I wish one of the major networks would cover this too. Great job!

@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I've lived on the water in Florida my entire life, I'd be first to know if water is rising. I'm not in south Florida but that doesn't make a difference. Water hadn't moved at all or I'd have water in my yard and my sea wall would fail. Hasn't happened in 40+ years my family has owned same house on the water. I have tons of pics from decades back of the water. So your knowledge about this topic is far off sadly. If it was rising I'd be first pushing for changes, but that's not at all the case.

The Native American calusa tribes had shell mounds, with large wooden huts on top. Cast nets and rivers were moved to catch fish on declining tides. Cisterns for water, canoes with huts on them, have you seen how large those canoes were? You have no idea what you’re talking about. Mexico city had canals, temples and floating cities on likes made out of woven reeds. You are absolutely watching too many western movies

Some people are homeless because they choose to be. Not all.
It’s a little deeper than you realize what the restoration is about.. I prefer my tax dollars going to restoration over housing homeless at this time, until a peer reviewed plan on who gets the housing, who builds the housing, where to put the housing, and putting homeless vets first.
Covering the canals will allow my Everglades to actually flow again, possibly allowing a clean up all the way up the Kissimmee to Orlando’s waters. What you know of the Everglades for the last 6 decades is a man made screw up that needs to be made right.. non native Floridians just don’t get it…. I like your videos, but I disagree with your opinion here. 🇺🇸👍

The Everglades don't need our help as humans we have messed it up and need to let it fix it self the Everglades will never be the same because of South FL city's. So no amount of money will fix it so let's forget about humans and worry about wildlife that has taken care of it self for longer then humans have been around so you need to get your liberal ideas and leave FL and go to California where other think like you

No one chooses to be unless their choices limit them so. The ones "choosing" it, deserve shelter to be there when they need it, but still have the ability to live. For too many of us, the choice is, do we put ALL our money into unsafe housing, or go live on our own. I'm a 65 year old disabled women, and I'm now facing those choices.
