An SDF approach uses the same equipment as, and is flown just like, a localizer approach. The main differences are "... the SDF course may not be aligned with the runway and the course may be wider, resulting is less precision." [AIM 1-1-10(c)]

Thank you for the tips on the FMS slash key Magnar. I was convinced it was a buggy MSFS issue. from my understanding we should enter a / LSK abeam and IAF, make a discontinuity, then enter the STAR to not loose the final destination waypoint after flying the missed approach?
Now I need to go back and watch your tutorial series again. We are always leaning!

After flying a missed approach, the approach is still in the FMS. Therefore, no programming is necessary for a second approach.

Hi there, how can an ATR can approach and departure fast? If it's a 100% throttle then the fast depart was a full rocket

Is it easy to set takeoff TQ during power application on older ATR equipped with ECU? How do you maintain the right PL position to adjust proper takeoff TQ value while focusing on takeoff roll?
