- In honor of T.O. being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018, here are some highlights from his lone season in Buffalo. Owens shocked the league by signing with the Bills on March 8, 2009. Despite the team struggling to a 6-10 record, he would go on to catch 55 passes for 829 yards and scored six total touchdowns in his 14th NFL season.
Trust me if he was a horrible teammate ..He had every excuse to be one in Buffalo. He humbled himself to come and never complained once.
Jemel Moore if billsfan91 could upload his post game interview from the saints it would show that. He had his catch streak snapped in a dreadful game by Trent and TO could have thrown Trent under the bus

Now we're seeing a repeat of this with Diggs. Everyone claims they were locker room cancer then they come to buffalo and the organization cant say enough good things about them
As someone who use to be a fan of T.O since the 90s. Was he a horrible teammate probably not. But, he was certainly a locker room divider and had emotional issues. He didn’t act up on the bills because he’s basically a hired gun now. With a measley 1 year veteran minimum contract. He lost all the leverage. They would have no problem getting rid of him.

Man, Terrell Owens just a hybrid of a wr. He catches, blocks, runs, and wouldn't shy away from contact like other so called great wr's.
Damn, I forgot how good he was that season on a bad team. He was really the only excitement for us that season.

TO is a showoff no matter what QB throws to him. I'm not surprised he's not attending the PFHOF ceremony. He is a class act in a bad way. I'm glad he was only in Buffalo for a year.
You can say whatever you want. TO was not a distraction when he was in Buffalo. He handled himself with class from start to finish.
He was a distraction with other teams. I'm not saying he was here. His reputation prior coming to Buffalo made me question signing him in the first place.

If Buffalo would have kept TO for a couple more years for Fitz with Evens and a young Stevie Johnson coming into his own with Fred Jackson couldve been a good core for a couple years

You don't aporeciate how physically imposing he is until you see him live... He looks like a man amongst boys. And it's really something to see someone that big run so fast. He was great. 2nd best WR of all time IMO behind Moss.

If he played with a better qb TO would easily get over 1k yards and 10 TDs Trent was trash

He was quiet that year. Never complained once. Think once he was done in Dallas he knew that was it. He was a pleasant surprise for us. He still had top 5 talent but Edwards sucked. Even fitz was a big upgrade and that’s not saying much

I never realized at the time (probably cause I was like 10) but Trent Edwards has almost no wind up to his pass and such a quick release. It's a shame what that concussion did to him

He wasn't a bad teammate. He's dark skinned, athletic, and great. That league wanted him to humble himself as a boy and not as a man. And he wouldn't do it. That's why he, Randy, and Chad never received rings.

The move to Fitz showed how bad Trent had become once Fitz came in TO took off
Trent had so much talent around him that season. Jackson, Lynch, T.O., Evans, Parrish, Reed and even a young Stevie Johnson. He had no excuses for playing so poorly. But I also blame Jauron and Van Pelt for not utilizing those weapons enough. Lynch and Jackson should have been the best RB duo in the league.
BuffaloBills91 then Nix drafted Spiller adding to that combo. That Cleveland game sums it up along with Trent’s last pass vs gb he became afraid of taking a shot. Was Fitz better? Who knows but Fitz was willing to take shots as seen in ‘10 when he took over and had us very close against good teams. Ot v KC and Pitt and close vs bears who made it to NFC title game that year. Keep up the great work man! I really enjoy the year in review highlights although they bring back many memories of the Bills giving false hope
Trent was official. Dick Juraun was ass. Free safety blitz, game against the cardinals. Trent got smashed. Didn't see it coming. Concussion protocol. Out for about 3 games. He never was the same afterwards.
Michael Bishop except in 2008 the concussion crisis hadn’t hit and buffalo had a bye the next week and he played the next week en route to a win much from the defense go watch this channels 07-08 vids the only reason the team was half decent was the defense. Trent had completely fell apart in 09 your right but Juron was a good defensive coach but had Trent Fitz and JP as his qbs
coreyandy5 , it was always a concussion crisis. But I know what you mean as far as its getting recognition. Trent was accurate and he could read the defense well. Only thing that he truly lacked was arm strength. Juraun made some of the worst decisions I've ever seen. And yes, offense scores the points but defense wins the game, so that could be said for all teams.

When Terrell Owens retired, he was still better than most of starting Recievers, at old age at professional level he caught close to 100 passes and caught as many TD's as top wr's do, if that is not hall of fame 1st ballot what is?
