    Hands down your best video yet imo. No trendy epic b-roll needed..jus excellent cinematography. Would love to see an editing break down? Cheers from 🇨🇦

    I can feel the cold air, and the heat radiating off the forge, and smell the smoldering coals. I know its modern but it feels so rustic and old. I can truly imagine myself there. incredible video.

    What I loved about this is that Peter is the first film maker to admit that transitions and “EpIC B-rOLl” is not cinematic. This work you’ve created is very well done. 👏🏾

  • @MarioSoMedia
    @MarioSoMedia 3 роки тому +3

    This is class! You don't always need the epic "cinematic" transitions. Epic cinematic movies don't have those transitions. It's all about the story, composition, lighting, etc.
    Well done Pete!

    Well, how so? such perfectionism to video editing and sound design, and the last blow of the hammer did not hit the rhythm of the music. 😭😭😭 my perfectionism is dead on the spot. And so the work is gorgeous!!! Bravo 🔥🔥🔥

    Hey man absolutely beautiful video. looking at the raw footage I didn't think the lights were going to make a difference but after seeing the final product it is incredible what they did!
    Quick thing, if you didn't see it but there are two weird artifacts that appeared in the video. One at 10:45 and one at 1:39 in case you didn't see it.
    Thanks again and I can't wait to see more!

Ps, how do you go about recording your audio for things in a way that doesn’t get polluted by other sounds... do you just stick the mic near it and hope it’s clean oooor do you do some wizardry ?

    Greetings from Norway! Lovely video Peter! I definetely prefer this kind of edit over whip pans and all the other overused trendy transitions. Good job! Could I ask you two things? 1) How do you white balance to keep all scenes coherent? Even in a small place like this I would guess the wb varies, like close to the forge is a different wb than when he cuts his apple etc... 2) Are those the 4 feet NanLite PavoTubes?
    Cheers,
    Eivind
