I did this to myself! In this episode of ‪@windowseatworldtravel‬ , I book the worst seat on the plane on the longest flight in the world... nearly 19 hours from JFK airport in New York City to Changi Airport in Singapore. And to make the challenge even greater - I'm going to try to spend the entire flight device-free. No internet, no phone, no music, no movies, no games. Just me in the moment - experiencing Singapore Airlines flight 23. It's currently the longest regularly-scheduled commercial airline flight on the planet, clocking in at 18 hours and 40 minutes. What's it like to spend that many hours in the middle seat of the very back row, right next to the bathrooms? You're about to find out! Plus we'll take a look at the aviation advances that make ultra-long range travel like this possible. And wait til you see the splendor of Changi airport, which awaits us on the other side!
